People may elect Sajith Premadasa to Parliament, it is President who names Prime Minister. Sinhala Buddhists are not racists finally , we are lucky having a Rajapaksa family.

Nearly 7 million people have elected Gotabaya Rajapaksa as the President of Sri Lanka on the 16 November,2019 approving his Presidential election manifesto  Saubhaagye Dakma or the Ten  Principles of Inclusive Governance. According to democracy we claim to practice in Sri Lanka, all the people of Sri Lanka belonging to different political parties whether they voted or not for  Gotabaya Rajapaksa as the President of Sri Lanka have to accept the verdict of the majority of the people, and accept  Gotabaya Rajapaksa as the President of Sri Lanka and his political manifesto as the political  plan of development of Sri Lanka for the next five years.

End of last year saw Sajith Premadasa pushing himself  to the maximum, claiming to have in him  dynamic power, and genes of the dead to rule Sri Lanka as its President,  as no President  had ever done  before. 

But with all those unrestrained outbursts he was defeated at the election and got blown off like an empty  balloon. He then disappeared from “circulation”, and  the people wondered  what had happened to him.  However, he next showed up as the leader of the opposition in the parliament chasing the media personnel from entering his office. Sajith Premadasa  who says he  is democratric does not seem to have  accepted the President of Sri Lanka elected with an overwhelming majority as his President as well, and showed that he is all out to make governing difficult for the President, by refusing to pass the vote on account presented to the Parliament by the government.  

After dissolution of the Parliament and a general  election was called for the election of the members of the Parliament,  Sajith Premadasa reappeared before the public , as a leader of a Political party  Samagi jana balavegaya, this time asking the people  to elect him to be the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka. He has refurbished his old speeches he used last year for his failed presidential election campaign,  and renders them with revived “ mechanical “ vigors he claims to have,  swearing once again to the public in his election campaign meetings, that he still has those machine power and genes of the dead to carry him forward and if fortune would smile a little more brighter this time to “ rule the country”, as the Prime Minister !! 

If what is said about democracy still holds good, one does not get elected as a Prime Minister, but the President of the country appoints a member of the Parliament who in his opinion is most likely to command the confidence of the Parliament, in terms of the Constitution of the country,   Therefore  it is presumptuous  for Sajith Premadasa to go round asking the people to elect him to be the Prime Minister, or as a matter of fact even Ranil Wickramasinghe, or Mahinda Rajapakse to do so.

However, Sajith Premadasa relying on the dynamism of his youth, and the genes of the dead he claims to have in his possession,  recently answered questions at a public show in  his best British Council English accent, where he ignored the President of Sri Lanka as a mere individual in a country where there is a tripartite rule under the Constitution. And explained how  he is going to implement the election manifesto he has just launched.

But tripartite or no, the President of Sri Lanka has been elected by a large majority of the people of the country to carry out his Presidential election manifesto, and the same people at the same time rejected Sajith Premadasa from having anything to do with the Presidency of Sri Lanka. 

In such a situation Sajith Premadasa if elected has only to work with the elected President of the Sri Lanka His Excellency Gotabaya Rajapakse, who has already started the implementation of his Manifesto - The Ten Principles of Inclusive Governance. Sajith Premadasa has no alternative, but to fall in line with the Democratic System and wait to see what  His Excellency the President of Sri lanka Gotabaya Rajapakse will decide after the general election of the Parliament. Will Sajith Premadasa be the Prime Minister ? Que sera sera….

However, Podujana Peramuna  is asking the people to give them a two third majority in the parliament at the elections,  to have an edge over other political parties to expect that its leader may be appointed as the Prime Minister. That is a wiser move, than that of  Sajith Premadasa who blinded by Prime Ministerial ambition seems already to have taken the role of  an executive Prime Minister perhaps dreaming once elected,  to relegate his excellency  the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to a role of a ceremonial President. Ranil Wickramasinha,  not wanting to play a second role to Sajith Premadasa in front of the people, also claims the  position of the Prime Minister in the next Parliament !!! 

It is all a guessing game for Sajith’s supporters and those of Ranil, which election manifesto is Sri Lanka going to implement ?  But they have all forgotten that nearly 7 million people have accepted the Presidential political manifesto of His Excellency the President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa-the  Vision of Prosperity or  the Ten  Principles of Inclusive Governance

Sajith Premadasa seems to be at the peak  of pushing his youth, dynamos, and the genes of the dead he possesses. His aim now is to bait voters- UNP’s old tactic which it used successfully to fool the voters to vote against President Mahinda Rajapakse at the Presidential election in 2015, which was to promise a salary increase of Rs.30000,00 to government servants.  That worked, and Sajith Premadasa seems to hold onto the same old tactic   this time,  promising everyone  an allowance of Rs.20,000,00, and Ranil Wickramasinhe promising Rs.10,000,00.

Rightly speaking,  the Commissioner of Elections should prohibit candidates making  election promises of  financial aid or grants if elected. It is as good as giving  bags of cements, or roof sheets. If the Election Commission stopped giving appointments to employ unemployed  graduates as he said it is  against the Election Law, so should be promises of  financial aid  or allowances  if elected. 

The people should look at these parliamentary candidates like Sajith Premadasa, or Ranil Wickramasinghe as potential trouble makers in a future parliament where the President has presented a workable election manifesto to modernise Sri Lanka bringing it out of the mess into which several of the former governments which had acted for their own  or for the benefit of their clan members  rather than to help the country and its people as a whole. After 72 years,  it is time Sri Lanka  agrees for a common plan  of development without different political parties proposing their own, each wanting to take credit for the final outcome.

Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna has formed an alliance and also present their own political manifesto  asking people to give them a chance to carry out their proposals. That means JVP and its alliance of political partners are asking the people to allow them to try  out their plan to make Sri Lanka  “their guinea-pig” to see whether their proposed method would help in the development of the country. Is it that the people want ? Allow political parties to carry out experiments  with the country and its people to see whether their methods will work better  than those previous methods that had been tried and mostly failed ?

Is not that what Sri Lanka had been doing since  independence ?  Sajith Premadasa as much as Ranil Wickramasinha have not tried out any plans before and got results to show the people that they have the best method to develop the country.  The result of these political experimenting left us with a thirty year of separatist terrorism,  and today with a  country in a financial cricis with an economic groth less than that of Afghanistan the result of a four years of Yahapalanaya  in the midst ofa pandemic. 

Until 2005 no one came forward with any suggestion to end the terrorism and put Sri Lanka onto a path of development. Now Sajith Premadasa, having failed to have been elected the President wants to be the Prime Minister,  to carry out the same programme of development he proposed when he campaigned as the Presidential Candidate.   Sajith Premadasa as the Presidential candidate had to wait a long time to put forward his election manifesto which came much later than that of his  rival candidate Gotabaya Rajapaksa,  and  Sajith Premadasa’s political manifesto some found  repeating in different terms  certain parts of  his rival Candidate Gotabhaya Rajpaksa’s manifesto.  Sajith Premadasa has no political vision and therefore  cannot produce any valid workable development plan.

His Excellency the President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa was  and is a practical man.  He had gone through life the hard way as a battle hardened soldier knocking on the doors of death most of the time. And he proved after he was entrusted with the Defense Ministry as its Secretary that he can work with different people with different experience and get them all together to successfully end the terrorist war that lasted for thirty long years without any one even making a positive suggestion to end it.

Sarath Fonseka was in the helm of the Armed Forces in 2004 and was on the verge of retirement  when Gotabaya Rajapaksa was called to be the Secretary of Defence. It was Gotabaya Rajapakse who got Sarath Fonseka back to the army and made him  the Commander of it. But  Sarath Fonseka lacks the gratitude to accept it. But Gotabaya Rajapaksa is a silent man who does not want to take credit for what he does. To him it does not matter whether one appreciates him or not, but  he wants a job of work well done, generous  to give credit for it.

Another criticism leveled against the Government  by the Sajith Premadasa, and also coming from the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna  is against promoting Sinhala Buddhism which for them  is racism. It is a wrong understanding of historical reality.  

Being Sinhala Buddhist is not being against Tamils , Muslims or any one else, it signifies a cultural trait of the people and an inane generosity  which makes Sinhala Buddhists a friendly people who are ready to accept into their  fold those who demand acceptance. 

It was that Sinhala Buddhist trait which saw even during the terrorist “war” Sri Lanka Armed Forces sending lorry loads of food items to the people in war zones, the army saving thousands of people in distress kept as human shields by the terrorists, and the Sinhala Buddhists in the South sending to those people in refugee camps in the North packets of rice, clothes and dry rations almost on a regular basis. 

Lastly,  Sajith Premadasa complains that the government is only promoting a family,  Rajapaksa family.  This may sound so, and it  is an easy target of attack . But if one looks at that family objectively without any bias, one may realise that  it is not so. In a way Sri Lanka is fortunate in having had that Rajapakse family. It seems that Rajapakse  family has a natural ability  to attract people,  make that family  a refuge of safety, a family that has the  ability to foresee and deliver what makes others happy, giving them an assurance of peace.

What other family in Sri Lanka could make that claim ?

France eases after lockdown and the second round voting for 50 thousands Communes may be called in June,2020.

The opposition in the Sri Lanka Parliament which was dissolved by the President  on 2nd March,2020. is clamouring with the News First TV in the forefront asking the President to recall the dissolved parliament despite the Article 150 of the Constitution, stating that he has no right to continue to take money under the consolidated Fund without the permission of the Parliament.   

This is a false argument, as the President after the dissolution of the Parliament is Constitutionally in full charge of running the country,  with the right to draw necessary  finances from the Consolidated Fund until  a new Parliament begins its sitting and for three months thereafter. The past obsolete  opposition of the dissolved parliament argues that the 20th June 2020 set for the General Elections  is not suitable to hold the General election as the country is not out of the  Covid -19 pandemic.

In view of this it would be interesting for those pessimists of opposition to the government,  to note the situation with regard to France.  France has 142 291 reported Covid 19 cases. There had been 27 625 deaths. 19 432 patients are in hospitals, out of them 2132 in reanimation.  The recovered cases reported are 61066.  

Despite this France has successfully eased off from the locked up situation. 

After 55 days of confinement, France announced easing out  of its citizens as from 11th May, 2020.  It has been reported that the deconfinement was a success. They have announced that sea beeches will also be opened to the public and parks and gardens will eventually be opened. Schools and Universities have also been listed to be opened soon subject to conditions to be announced later.

The government of France held up the second round of local government election on the 15th March,2020 due to Covid - 19 pandemic. It involves 5000 municipalities representing more than 25 million French people.

The government is expected to decide next week if it is safe to hold the second round of local government elections by the end of June, after consultations with health experts.  Why should not Sri Lanka which is much  safer than France under the Covid -19 pandemic  find a safe method  for  holding elections in consultation with the Health Authorities, the Defence Forces and the Police ?.

Today the 17 May 2020, first time after two months President Emmanuel  Macron attended a public gathering to commemorate the day  Charles de Gaulle still an unknown Colonel led an armoured division to fight against the advancing Nazi Forces famously called the battle of Moncornet in which 60000 French soldiers lost their lives.

However complicating the situation in France further, it has been announced that   34 positive cases of Covid-19 affected persons  were found  among the workers in a slaughterhouse. Same has been reported in slaughter houses in Germany,  and in America. They argue that it may have come from the workers living in insalubrious conditions in quarters close to the slaughter houses. They still do not say whether the flesh of the slaughtered animals were either contaminated or the virus had been found in the slaughtered animals. 

Sri Lanka should start testing the butcheries , workers in slaughter houses and also the workers in  fish markets who cut and pack fish.

France not taking lessons from China, did not start off well with its fight against Covid-19.  When China built two hospitals in two weeks to take care of the persons affected by the Virus, France did not even open any existing hospital exclusively for the treatment of Corona Virus affected patients. France indicated a telephone number to be called if any one suspects having signs of Corona Virus. It recommended self confinement as it had no special quarantine centers to receive suspected patients.

France lacked masks even for sale for the public, whatever was available were meant for hospital staff. Unfortunately last week it was said that France  had found an abandoned  stock of 362 million old and unusable masks which were destroyed.

”The stock of surgical masks was burned between January and March 2020, just as the coronavirus pandemic was beginning to take hold in Europe. Public Health France has defended the move, as they state the masks were out of date - but they weren't checked to see if they were still usable prior to being destroyed. Fighting off the Covid 19 is more political and the Medical experts are consulted but not seen much as they are in Sri Lanka where the Sri Lanka government takes no action without consulting the Health Services.

Deconfinement in France to change for the better despite the Covid 19

The Prime Minister  Edouard Philippe of France announced today that the first stage of  de-confinement of the French people who had been in confinement since 17 March,2020, will begin from 11 May 2020. People are allowed to leave their homes and go for a distance of 100km from their homes without having a certificate of leaving home for a specific purpose. 

France which had been an unfortunate victim of the Corona pandemic with 137 779 covid-19 affected persons; and 25 987 deaths from the virus has decided to open the country to commence economic activities to revitalise its economy. Some enterprises have commenced work and others may follow.  The Commercial Centres are open. Even lakes and beaches may open subject restrictions imposed by the relevant authorities.

Those who venture out of homes should wear  masks. The public transport is opened under conditions of keeping the required physical distansing, specifying special hours for  office and other workers.. The Restaurants and Bars are to be kept closed. The Schools will still not be opened, though some schools and colleges may open by the 18th May. The places of worship will remain closed. 

If one is ill  and suspects having the Corona Virus then he should call  a Doctor. It is only if one has fever and difficulty in breathing that one should telephone No.15. There are no Centres of Confinement as in Sri Lanka. One has to restrict oneself to self confinement, (until one recovers or dies). What is in bracket I have added as the Government is not specific. 

It is only now that the government  seems to be collecting information with regard to contacts and associates of persons affected by the virus.  For a long time there was a dearth of masks and whatever was available were meant for the medical professionals.  

Now the Government says that every one should wear a mask. Though the Government says that the  elderly and the invalids should be given masks free, they are not available even in Pharmacies. However some pharmacies  sell hand made masks for about Rs.1500,00 each.  

The elderly have to go to do their own shopping or  buy their medicine in pharmacies. There are no ambulant traders going from door to door to sell  consumer articles or even bread to the people remaining in confinement. France is unable to imagine such facilities. All those good services happen only in Sri Lanka. 

France has money to look after its people living in fear of Covid-19 better than it is doing now.  The Army and the Police have been mobilised by the government, but we in some parts of France do not see the Army and Police carrying out any special work in these parts of  France. The Army and Police personnel are not as kind, polite and serviable as they are in Sri Lanka. 

What is striking here is that the government calls a press conference and allows the journalists to pose questions.  The Opposition political parties do not carry vicious campaigns against the Government criticising the Government  for the way it is managing the Covid-19.  The Political parties do not interfere into the activities taken by the government in its fight against Covid-19. 

This is a lesson for the politicians of Sri Lanka who instead of helping  with the excellent work the President and his government  is doing to meet the situation in difficult circumstances keep urging the Government in different forums  in the TV to recall the Parliament that had been Constitutionally dissolved by the President of Sri Lanka. Why recall a dissolved parliament, when the President has the necessary laws which had been passed before to deal with any situation arising in the cause of  attending to the pandemic situation. 

Some parliamentarians  not satisfied being left outside the limelight have even filed action in courts to find out whether they could find a legal means to get the President to recall the dissolved parliament. One cannot say what decision the Courts would take  considering an earlier case where a President had dissolved the  parliament rightly under article 33 of the Constitution,  and the Courts overlooking the Article 33,had ruled that the President  has no power  to dissolve the Parliament until the end of four and half years. 

The Article 33 showed a way out of a most undemocratic situation of an article introduced by the Government to the Constitution that   deprived  the President from dissolving the Government before the end of four and half years even when  the Prime Minister and the government had lost the trust of the people.  There the Courts deprived “democracy” to function for four and a half years.

Let us hope that the President and the Government in Sri Lanka with the Medical Services and Armed Forces will be able to continue the good work it is doing to fight the Covid -19, until it calls for an  election to have a new Parliament.

එදා රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ  නායකත්වය දුන් එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂය හා  සම්බන්ධ පක්ෂ එකතුව ඉදිරිපත්කල  ජනාධිපති අපේක්ෂක  සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස ලක්ෂ 69 කටත් වැඩි චන්දයකින් පරාජයකොට ගොටාභය රාජපක්ස මැතිතුමා ලංකාවේ ජනාධිපති වශයෙන්  පත්කරගත්තෙ,  එදා යහපාලනය ආණ්ඩුව වෙනුවෙන් පෙනී සිටි හා ඒ ආණ්ඩුවට සමබ්න්ධවී  පාරලිමේන්තුවේ සිටි මන්ත්‍රී  වරුන් සියල්ලම කෙරෙහි විශ්වාශයක් නොමැති බැවින්. ජනතාව  එදා යහපාලනය ආණ්ඩුව පරාජය කලේ  ඒ  වෙනුවට  ජනාධිපති ගොටාභය රාජපක්ෂ මහතා ඉදිරිපත්කල සෞභාග්යේ දැක්ම පිළිගෙන  එතුමා සමග දේශපාලන ගමනකට සුදානම්  අලුත් මන්ත්‍රීවරුන් පත්කරගෙන අලුත් ආණ්ඩුවක් පිහිටුවීම සඳහායි.

ඒ යහපාලනය ආණ්ඩුව වෙනුවෙන් පෙනීසිටි පාරලිමේන්තුවේ විපක්ෂයේ මන්ත්‍රීවරු අන්තිම මොහොත දක්වාම  කලේ ජනාධිපති  ගොටාභය රාජපක්ශ මැතිතුමා  ආරම්භ කල  වැඩපිළිවෙලට භාදා කිරීමයි.   එසේ කරමින්   සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස  ඇතුළු විපක්ෂය කීවා  අපි ජනාධිපති තුමාට සම්පුර්ණ සහාය දෙනවා, පාරලිමේන්තුවට ගෙනෙන ඕනෑම යෝජනාවකට එක අතක් නොවෙයි  අත් දෙකම උස්සල චන්දය දෙනවා කියල.

 නමුත්  මාර්තු මාසයේ කැඳවන ලද පාරලිමේන්තුවට ජනාධිපතිතුමාගේ ආණ්ඩුව  අතුරු ඇස්තමේන්තුවක් ඉදිරිපත්කල අවස්ථාවේ සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස ඇතුළු විපක්ෂයේ මන්ත්‍රී කාන්ඩායම එදා අත් දෙකම උස්සා චන්දය දීමට දුන් පොරොන්දුව අමතක කර ඊට විරුද්ධවූ නිසා  ආණ්ඩුව ඒ අතුරු යෝජනාව අස්කර ගත්තා .  ඒ බැවින් ජනාධිපති  තුමාට රටගෙනයාම සඳහා වෙනත් විකල්පයක් නොතිබුන බැවින්  2020  ජුනි 2වනදා පාරලිම්වෙන්තු චන්දයක් සඳහා දින නියම කරමින්  2020 මාර්තු  3වනදාම පාර්ලිමේන්තුව විසුරුවා හැරියා. ඒකයි  ජනාධිපති තුමා  මාර්තු  3දාම පාර්ලිමේන්තුව විසුරුවා හැරීමට හේතුව වූයෙ.    

මේ අතරතුර සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාසත් රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහත් අතර ඇතිවූ  දේශපාලන විරුද්ධතාවයක් හේතුවෙන් සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස සමගි බලවේගයයි වෙනම දේශපාලන පක්ෂයක් පිහිටුවාගත්තා.   ඔවුන් පාර්ලිමෙන්තු චන්දයකදී නියත වශයෙන්ම පරාජය වන බව  දැනගෙන  චන්දයකට මූහුනදීමට බියව සිටි අවස්ථාවේ, රටේ අවාසනාවකට  නොසිතු අයුරු කුරිරු කොරෝනා වසංගතය  පැතිරෙන්න පටන්ගත්තා.

වාසනාවකට අපේ ජනාධිපති තුමා දේශපාලන මානසිකත්වයකින්  පෙලෙන්නෙක්  නොවන  බැවින් කොරෝනා වය්රසයටමුහුණ දීමට දේශපාලනමය  තීරණයක් වෙනුවට පැහැදිලිවම ජනතාතාවගේ ආරක්ෂාව සඳහා  විශේශඥ වෛද්‍යවරුන්ගේ හා තාක්ෂණික  දනුම ඇති අයද, වීරෝධාර  රණවිරුවන් ද,  පොලිසිය ද සම්බන්ධකරගෙන   ඉතා කාලෝචිත,  වගකිවයුතු, කාර්යක්ෂම,  මානුසික වැඩපිළිවෙලක් දියත්කර තිබෙනවා  .

දැන් විසුරුවා හරින ලද පාරලීමේනතුවේ සිටි විපක්ෂ මන්ත්‍රී වරු ජනාධිපති තමාගේ කොරනා ව්‍යාසනයට මුහුණදීමේ වැඩපිලිවල පිළිබඳව ධනාත්මකව බලා ඒ සඳහා ඔහුට දිය හැකි ආධාර සොයා බලා ජනාදිපතිතුමා සමග  එක්ව  ඒ වැඩ පිළිවෙලට සහය දෙනවා  වෙනුවට, ඔවුන්  විසුරුවා හරින ලද පාරලිමේන්තුව නැවත කැඳවිය යුතුයයි අයුතු බලපෑමක යෙදී සිටිනවා.    

ජනාධිපතිතුමා  කොරෝනා වයිරසයට මුහුණදීම සඳහා හොඳ වැඩ පිළිවෙලක් ගෙනයද්දී, රටේ වෙනත්  ජනාධිපතිතුමාට තනිව තීරණයක්  ගත නොහැකි විශේෂ තත්වයක් ඇතිවී නොමැති හෙයින්,  විසුරුවාහරින ලද පාරලිමේන්තුව කැඳවීමට අවශ්‍ය තාවයක් නැත. එය මහජාතාවද දනී.  

නමුත් මොවුන්  කියා සිටින්නේ කොරනා වයිරසයෙන් රට ආරක්ෂා කරනු සඳහා ජනාධිපතිතුමාට විශාල මුදල් ආධාර ලැබෙමින් තිබෙන බැවින් ඒ මුදල් කලමනාකරණය පිලිබඳව ඔවුන්ට සාධාරන සැකයක් ඇතිවී තිබෙන හෙයින්  ඒ ලැබෙන මුදල් පිලිබඳව පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට දැන්වීමේ වගකීමක් ජනාධිපති තුමාට තියෙන නිසා   විසුරුවාහරිනලද පාරලිමේන්තුව කැඳවා  ඒ පිළිබඳව රපොර්තුවක් ඉදිරිපත් කලයුතුයයි ඔවුන් විශ්වාශ කරන බවයි.

විසුරුවාහරිනලද පාරලිමේන්තුව අතීතයයි ඒ මලගිය පාරලිමේන්තුවට නැවත පනාදිය නොහැක.

මේක බොරු මනස්ගාතයක්. ව්‍යවස්ථාව අනුව ජනාධිපති තුමා විසින් විසුරුවාහරින ලද පාරලිමේන්තුව නැවත කැඳවීමට කිසිකෙනෙකුට බලකළ නොහැකිය.  විසුරුවා හරින ලද පාරලිමේන්තුව කැඳවීම හෝ නොකැඳවීම ජනාධිපති තුමාට ඇති  විශේෂ බලයක්. ඒ  විශේෂ බලය පාවිච්චි කරන්නයි බලකරන්න කිසිවෙකුට නොපුළුවන. ශ්‍රේෂ්ටාධිකරණය වෙනම කතාවක්.

රටේ යුද්ධයක් වැනි විශේෂ අවස්තාවක් ඇතිඋවහොත් ජනාධිපතිතුමාට විසුරුවාහරින ලද පාර්ලිමේන්තුව නැවත කැඳවිය හැකිය.  එවැනි ජනාධිපති තුමාට තනිව තීරණයක් ගත නොහැකි අවස්තාවක් තාමත්  රටේ ඇතිවී නැත.  එබැවින් විසුරුවාහරිනලද පාරලිමේන්තුව නැවත කැඳවීමට අද අවශ්‍යතාවයක් නොමැත.

ඒ විසුරුවාහරින ලද  පාරලිමේන්තුවේ බහුතරයක් තුබූ,  විපක්ෂයෙ මන්ත්‍රී වරුන් කෙරෙහි  අබමල් රේණුවක් තරම් වත් විශ්වාශයක් තැබිය නොහැකියි. 

ජිනීවා නුවරදී අමෙරිකාව සමග එක්වී තාමාගේම රටේ විරෝධාර යුදබලකායන් යුද අපරාධ කරුවන් වශයෙන් පාවා දුන්,  සංඝරත්නය ත්‍රිවිධ රත්නයෙන් අහක්කල,  මුසල පාපකාරී මංගල සමරවික්‍රම, නින්දාසහගත ලෙස බොරුවෙන් සත්‍ය වසන්කරන රාජිත සෙනාරත්න, අසරණ තරුණයකු ජීවිත කාලයටම  ආභාදිතයෙක් කර එය නොපිළිගත් වාන්චනික චම්පික රණවක, තෙරුමක් නැතිව කට තියෙනවාට  දොඩවන එස් ඒම මරික්කාර්,  අප්‍රේල් මාසයේ පාස්කු ඉරිදා භිෂනයට කෙලින් හෝ වක්‍රව සම්බන්ධ  රවුෆ් හකීම්, රිෂාඩ් බද්යුදීන්, මුජුබු රහමාන්,  මාන්නයෙන් පිම්බුණ  රංගේ බන්ඩාර, සදාචාරයක් නැතිව ඕනෑ නොහොම්බිනා දෙයක්  කිරීමට සුදානම් කතානායකව සිටි කරු ජයසුරිය,  එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂය වෙනුවෙන්  නා නා විධියට බල මෙහෙවර කම් කල අදටත් කරන ජනතා විමුක්ති පෙරමුනේ හිටපු මන්ත්‍රී රැළ,  ආදීන්ගෙන් සමන්විත වූ විසුරුවාහරින ලද පාරලිමේන්තුව නැවත කැඳවන්නේ මොන කෙන්ගේඩියකටද  ?  

සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස ඇතුළු විපක්ෂයේ හිටපු මන්ත්‍රීවරු  දැන් පුන පුනා ඉල්ලා සිටින්නේ,

විසුරුවාහරින ලද පාරලිමේන්තුව නැවත කැඳවන ලෙසයි. මේ ඉල්ලිම පිටුපස කුමන්ත්‍රණයක්  තිබේ ද යයි සොයා බැලිය යුතුය.

විසුරුවා හරින ලද  පාරලිමෙන්තුව යලි කැඳවූවහොත් ඒ පාරලිමේන්තුවේ  බහුතරය තිබෙන්නේ  ඔවුන්ටයි.  එවිට  මේ අවස්ථාවෙන් ප්‍රයෝජනය ගෙන ඔවුන්ට පුලුව්න්  වෙනවා ජනාධිපති තුමාගේ වැඩකටුයුතුවලට භාදාකල හැකි   පනතක් කඩිමුඩියේ පාරලිමේන්තුවට ඉදිරිපත්කරගෙන එය අනුමතකරගන්න. කරු ජයසුරියගේ  අතීත හැසිරීම අනුව එහෙම කුමන්ත්‍ර කාරී වැඩපිළිවෙලක් තියෙනවානම්  කතානායක වශයෙන් කරු ජයසූරිය කිසි පැකිලීමල් නොමැතිව එවැනි කුමන්ත්‍රණයකට සහාය දෙනවා ඇත.  ඒ නිසා ජනාධිපති තුමා මොවුන් එතුමා ඉදිරියේ තබන උගුලට හසුවිය නොයුතුය.

ජනාධිපති තුමා විසින් පාරලිමේන්තුව විසුරුවාහැරීමෙන් පසුව, ඔහු රටේ විවිධ කාර්යයන්  සඳහා කරන වියහියදම් පිළිබඳව වගකිවයුත්තේ අනාගතයේදී කැඳවනු ලබන අලුත් පාරලිමේන්තුවට මිස, විසුරුවාහරින ලද  පාරලිමේන්තුවට නොවේ.

ජනාධිපති තුමා පාරලිමේන්තුව විසිරුවා හැරිමෙන් පසුව අලුත් පාරලිමේන්තුවක්  කැඳවීම  සඳහා චන්දය පැවැත්වීම චන්ද කොමසාරිස් වෙත පැවරෙන වගකීමයි, ඒ සඳහා ජනාධිපති තුමා මැදිහත්වන්නේද නැත.  

මේ විපක්ෂයේ හිටපු පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී වරුන්ට උවමනා යම් විධිහක චන්ද ප්‍රචාරක කටයුතු කොටසක්  කොරෝන වය්රසය මුවාවෙන් කරන්නටනම්, ඒ සඳහා තමන්ගේ කොට්ටාසවල මිනිසුන්ට  ඔවුන්ට හැකිපමනින් ආධාර උපකාර කිරීම සඳහා වැඩපිළිවෙලක් ඔවුන්ට සකසාගත හැකියි. නැත්නම්  දේශපාලන වෙනස්කම් අත්හැර ආණ්ඩුවට යම් විධියක සහයක් දීමට  ජනාධිපතිතුමාට  දන්වා  වැඩපිළිවෙලක් සකස් කර ගැනීමට භාධාවක් ඇතැයි නොසිතමි.

දැන් ශ්‍රේෂ්ටාධිකරණයේ කතාව විය හැක්කේ කුමක්ද ? මේපිළිබඳව සුමන්දිරන් වගේ බෙදුම්වාදී  හිටපු මන්ත්‍රීවරයෙක් හෝ සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාසගේ සහකාරයෙක් ශ්‍රේශ්ටාධිකරණයට ගියොත්  උසාවිය මොන  තීන්දුවක් ගනීවිදැයි කිව නොහැකියි. පුද්ගලිකව ලංකාවේ ශ්‍රේශ්ටාධිකරණය පසුගිය කාලයේ ගත් තීරණ දෙකක් සම්බන්ධව  ඒකඟ විය නොහැක.  එකක් අග්‍රවිනිශ්ච කාරවරියට විරුද්ධව ගෙනා  ද්යෝෂාභියෝනය  පිළිබඳව ශ්‍රේශ්ටාධිකරණය ව්‍යවස්ථාවේ වගන්තියක් පිළිබඳව දුන් අසම්පුර්ණ අර්ථකතනය. දෙවෙනුව ජනාධිපති මෛත්‍රීපාල සිරිසේන  මැතිතුමා එදා පරලිමේන්තුව විසුරුවා හැරීමට  විරුද්ධව ශ්‍රේශ්ටාධිකරණ දුන් තීන්දුව.  මේ දෙකම  පිළිගත නොහැකියි. . .

එංගලන්තයේ නිතිය හදාරන කාලයේදී  අධිකරණ තීන්දු විශාල ගණනාවක් කියවලා  දැනගත් දෙයක් තමා බ්‍රතාන්‍ය විනිශචකරාවරුන් බොහොවිට තීරනය ගැනීමේදී  නීතියෙන් ඔබ්බට ගිහින්  වැරදිකරු හා වැරැද්දට භාජනය  වූ තැනැත්තාගේ ජීවිත වාතාවරණයන් හා ගතිගුණ  සලකා බලා මානුෂික මය නඩු තීන්දු දෙනවා. . නමුත් ලංකාවේ විනිශ්ව්යකාරවරුන්  එවැනි තීරණ ගන්නට තරම් බුද්ධිමත් බවක් පෙනෙන්ට නැත.

ජනාධිපති වරයාට පාරලිමේන්තුව විසුරුවාහැරීමට ඇති අයිතියක් තියෙනවාද නැද්ද  විනිස්චයකිරීමෙදී  නඩුකාරයන් විසින්   පාරලිමේන්තුව විසුරුවා හැරීම වැරදියයි නඩුතීන්දුවක්  දීමට තීරණයක් ගෙන,  ව්‍යවස්ථාවේ  ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රවාදී වගන්ති නොබලා  නඩු තීන්දුවක් දී තිබෙන බවක්  ජනාධිපති සිරිසේන මැතිතුමාගේ පාර්ලිමේන්තුව විසුරුවා හැරීමේ තීරනයට විරුද්ධව  දුන් නඩු තීන්දුවෙන් පෙනෙනවා.    

අවුරුදු හතරහ මාරකට පෙර පාරලිමේන්තුව විසුරුවාහැරීමට ජනාධිපති තුමාට  අයිතියක්  නොමැතියි ප්‍රජාන්ත්රවාදයට පටහැනි වගන්තිය පමණක් කියවා,  ජනාධිපති තුමන්ට අවුරුදු හතරහමාරකට  පෙර  පාරලිමේන්තුව විසුරුවා හැරීමේ  බලය තිබෙයයි  ව්‍යවස්තාවේම සඳහන්  වගන්තිය සම්පුර්ණයෙන් අත්හැර දමා එදා  ඒ නඩුකාර කට්ටලය වැරදි තීරණයක් ගත්තා. .

යුක්තිමත්, සාධාරණ හා ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රවාදී  නඩු තීන්දු ගන්නට තුබූ අවස්ථාවේ ගෙනත් තිබුනේ අයුතු, අසාධාරණ නඩු තීන්දු.  එබැවින් අද අපේ විනිශ්චයකාරවරු නීතිය අකුරටම පිළිපදියි ද  පවතින කොවිඩ් 19 ව්‍යාසනය තත්වය  නඩුවට අදාළ නැතියයි  සලකා  දරදඬු තීන්දුවක් ගනිත්දොයි නොදනීමූ. කලින් සඳහන් කල නඩුතීන්දුව ප්‍රකාෂකරද්දී   හඬ නගා  අවුරුදු හතරහමාරකට පාරලිමේන්තුව විසුරුවාහරින්න බෑ යයි සරදමට මෙන් ප්‍රකාශයක් උසාවියේදී කල  සරත් ආබ්රු නඩුකාරවරයා තාමත් සිටිත් දැයි නොදනිමු.

දැන් ඔය ජනාධිපතිතුමාට කොන්දෙසි විරහිත සම්පුර්ණ සහාය දෙනවා කියල ගිවුසුම  අත්සකරලා දෙන්න සුදානම් විසුරුවාහරින ලද පාරලිමේන්තුවේ  හිටපු මන්ත්රීවරු පහුගිය දවස්වල් ජනාධිපති තුමාට ගෞරවාන්විතව හෝ ප්‍රශාන්ශනීය ප්‍රකාශයන් කලේ නෑ.   ජනතා වීමූක්ති පෙරමුන කීවා ජනාධිපතිතුමා ගෙන යන්නේ මිලිටරි පාලනයක් කියල, තවත් තැනක යහපාලනයෙ  හිටපු මන්ත්‍රීවරයෙක් කීවා ජනාධිපතිතුමා  ආඥාදායකයෙක් කියලා.  තවත් එකියක්  කීවා ආන්ඩුවට විශාල ධනස්ඛන්ධයක් ලෑබෙනවා නමුත් ඒ මුදල් පරිහරණය  කිරීම පිළිබඳව සාධාරන සැකයක් තියෙනවා කියල.

යහපාලන ආන්ඩුවකාලයේ  මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමා ඇතුළු ඒකාබද්ධ  විපක්ෂය  පාරලිමේන්තුවේ ව්පක්ෂය මෙන් පිළිනොගෙන දෙමල සන්ධානයේ සම්බන්ධන්  විපක්ෂනායකයා කරගත් ,ඒ විසුරුවාහරින ලද පාරලිමේන්තුවේ හිටපු එකම මන්ත්රීවරයකු කෙරෙහිවත්  කිසිම විශ්වාශයක් තැබීය නොහැකිය  එබැවින් මොවුන් නැවත කැඳවාගැනීමට  අවශ්‍යතාවයක් තියෙනවාද ? ඇත්තටම එහෙම අවශ්‍යතාවයක් කිසිසේත්ම නැත.

Why we should give two third majority to Podujana Peramuna and its Sandanaya and not vote for Sajith Premadasa led Samagi Peramuna , UNP.or JVP

  

There may not be election meetings . There may not be house to house  campaign by Candidates.  But there may the possibility of voting for your preferred candidate from the political party you support. Therefore there are things that you have to think before you cast your vote. 

We had been a country that was in the process of being divided and communally separated by a ruthless group of terrorists supported by the so called Western Democracies. Yes Western Democracies.  We were saved from that eventuality  thanks to the people who elected  Mahinda Rajapaksa as the President of Sri Lanka in 2005, amidst  powerful forces against him within and without the country. President Mahinda Rajapakse faced that terrorist situation  with Gotabhaya Rajapakse as his Defence Secretary.

Though many now tries to take the credit  for that great victory against terrorism, it was definitely the  determination and the unwavering  confidence  Gotabaya Rajapaksa had  of the Armed Forces that they can successfully fight that “war” against terrorism .

Our Armed Forces were willing to take all risks , knowing that they were in the command of the reliable  political leadership of  President Mahinda Rajapaksa and the Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapakse, who himself had previously been in the war against terrorism. Therefore the the Armed Forces stood firmly determined to  defeat terrorism for good.

Despite that courageous decision taken and fulfilled, the people were ungrateful to Mahinda Rajapaksa who gave back to them  the right to exist as a free people in a  peaceful environment , yet  defeated him at the Presidential election  in January, 2015, to what they hoped  was for a change for a better life, and we now know what cost that change of heart  to bring to power the worlds worst government led by  Maithreepala Sirisena and RanilWickramasinghe  with the support of JVP which they called Yahapalanaya –good governance. What a deception it was need not be reiterated. And the voting  Gotabaya Rajapkse as the President in  November ,2019 with a 19 lack majority was a vindication of that deception.

The people were wise to have elected Gotabhaya Rajapaksa as the President of Sri Lanka in November,  2019. Sajith Pemadasa did his best to balloon himself as  the appropriate  Candidate with working dynamos, fully charged batteries and above all with the genes of  Ranasinghe Premadasa to lead Sri Lanka as its President.

But the people knew better, that neither Ranasinghe Premadasa, nor Ranil Wickramasinghe with whom Sajith associated were  commendable men, and  the son with such genes could not be any better than the father.

It was an error that the armed forces that wiped out the terrorists were considered to have violated human rights by the worlds most stupid Institution the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, when actual violators of human rights were Ranasinghe Premadasa and Ranil Wickramasinghe  with a history of burning  rebellious youth on pyres of rubber wheels and torturing  others  in Batalanda torture camp.

If the people were not wise enough not  to have been  swayed by Sajith Premadasa’s  exaggerated  trumpet blowing, we would have had the most disastrous President of all times in Sri Lanka . We are fortunate that our people were not  fooled by this “big” talk of loud mouthed Sajith Premadasa..

Fortunately for Sri Lanka, Gotabaya Rajapaksa a far more intelligent  and a visionary leader  who could bring back Sri Lanka from the sad state it has been relegated to by the Yahapalanaya, was elected as the President. But he  has inherited an empty treasury, and is compelled to govern under utterly modest financial conditions as a  a minority government in the Parliament. 

The opposition led by the failed leader Sajith Premadasa who was finally elected in the Parliament as the leader of the opposition  boasts that the opposition  would vote with “both hands” if the government  were to present any bills in parliament.  But that was a hoax to mislead the government.  Their intention was to allow the government to present a   Bill  in Paliament and then vote against it,  thus putting the government into  greater difficulty  by having to  dissolve the government  and reappoint a new government.  

That became evident when the government presented a Vote on Account to parliament  to  pay the debts, incurred by the Yahapalanaya which remain unpaid, thus blocking the government from buying  essentials   such as manure for farmers and medicine for hospitals etc.

This move of the leader of the Opposition  was a ploy to embarrass the government,  and antagonise the people against the government.  But  Sajith did not see  that it was the country and the people who suffered as a result. This the people should take into account when they go to polls to cast their votes,  and vote against the candidates put forward by the Samagi Peramuna of Sajith Premadasa, the UNP lead by Ranil Wickramasinghe, and Anura Dissanayake led JVP.

JVP leaders are clever to present to the people that both Samagi Peramuna of Sajith Peramuna and Podujana Peramuna  will not be able to give the people the desired changes as it is they of  the JVP, who have the key to provide the people with what they desire.

But these are mere words. Their true colours would be seen only if they ever come to power. They stand for a  new Sri Lanka without its Buddhist cultural back ground , a country where there is no communal difference . But JVP would still work with the UNP because they are politically sheltered by the UNP.

JVP cannot  understand  the heart beat of the people. Sri Lanka is unique  because of its Buddhist Cultural back ground. The Sinhala people have no other country to claim to be theirs. Therefore Sri Lanka has to preserve its Buddhist Sinhala  identity which JVP opposes on the ground of  equality for all.

This is contrary to what the people desire and therefore the people should not vote for them as it would be a wasted vote.

Today  the Government of the President Gotabaya Rajapaksa is facing  great difficulty in the administration of the country  due to the financial mismanagemnt of Yahapalanaya. Perhaps the sudden fall of the price of  fuel could be utilised by the government holding back  the  immediate benefits  going to the people and use the fall off  to bring substantial changes delayed due to  the present financial  difficulties, enhanced by the Corona virus and the government’s great effort to save the country from making it go to a pandemic level, and until  a new Budget is passed in the Parliament after the elections in April.2020.

The Opposition led by Sajith Premadsa and the JVP are trying to stop this possibility to allow the government to give the people  the  desired  financial relief  and   find a way out of the present financial difficulties  by insisting  at their political platforms  that the  Government should  give the people  the benefit  from the falling down of the fuel prices. 

The Opposition leader and the JVP are not  clamouring for these demands for any love they have for the people and the country but merely to put the people against the government ad stop it from getting a two third majority.

The financial crisis that the Government is facing  is not  its making but that of the Yahapalanaya Government  which had failed to pay the  bills for construction work , pay for the purchase of manure during their period of government, and pay he unpaid bills for the purchase of medicine.

The financial difficulties the government is facing  is a national issue where  a reasonable, concerned Opposition should cooperate with the government  by voting in the parliament  for the Vote on Account if they are really interested in the welfare of the people.  But Sajith Premadasa is a political leader  without political maturity, working for his own personal aggrandisement. Therefore  the  well being of the country and its people are far from his thoughts.

Sajith Premadasa  is campaigning with the intention of becoming the Prime Minister.  But as the Minister of Housing  in Yahapalanaya Government he was a failure. Further more  he had not even  participated in any  important  debates in parliament, and above all he does not show qualities of a Prime Minister. That may be the reason why apparently Ranil Wickramasinghe seems to wants his defeat . Ranil Wickramasinghe  is also  refusing to give him the leadership of the UNP .

These are the matters the people should think of and take into consideration at the polls and vote  to give Mahinda Rayapaksa led Podujana Peramuna a resounding victory. That would be a vote to bring Sri Lanka to what it had been before the 8 th January, 2015 and for its development into  a modern Sovereign National State with different communites  living in harmony as Sri Lankans.

There is a belief amoung  the English Speaking Colombians that a “tyranee” of absolute majority should be avoided. That comes from the believers in an exaggerated democracy dentified as British..

Democracy we have seen from our own experience and that of many other countries, is beign dictated to us  by the so called developed democracies insisting  that the developing countries should adhere to a strict democratic norm as defined by them. But this norm is apparently different from their democracy..

These pontificators contrary to their strictures have adopted democracy to fit into their own purposes. We see the functionality of the UNHRC in Geneva too have got into a habit of looking at democracy differently according to the countries they deal with.

But developing countries should not  adopt the western interpretation of democracy as such  a system will  not allow the developing countries to rise above their “developing” status. In 2015 Mahinda Rajapaksa lost at the Presidential election because his opponents carried  a campaign against him that the 18th Amendment to the Constitution was for him to continue to be a life-long President.  

Which was wrong as President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s  Government  after successfully eliminating  terrorism and after a planned economic development program  successfully brought  “ The Sri Lankan economy to a robust annual growth at 6.4 percent over the course of 2010 to 2015. Sri Lanka is now focusing on long-term strategic and structural development challenges as it strives to transition to an upper middle income country.” “ Sri Lanka increased from below 15% of GDP in the mid-1970 to about 25% of GDP in 2010/ This is a remarkable trend.” (World Bank).

The President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s intention was to keep the pace of development by continuing to lead a government for a further period of five years to strive  transition to an upper middle income Country, which he would have been able accomplish  if he was elected President at the 2015 Presidential election.

That was what Sri Lanka missed  in January, 2015,  and the result is that the Yahaplanaya reversed the development process to  an economic growth below that of Afghanistan.

Today we have President Gotabaya Rajapakse who with a keen intelligence and determination  will follow the steps of his elder brother now his Prime Minister to bring Sri Lanka pack to the correct path for its development and bring back the pace of development set by President Mahinda Rajapakse to take  Sri Lanka to the next level of an upper middle income country and more.

To accomplish that for the people of Sri Lanka he needs a two third majority so that he will not have to depend on any other political party, or allow other political parties  to become a deterent to reacho reach the target he has set. 

Therefore the people of this country should not hesitate to give their  fullest support to the President Gotabaya Rajapakse by giving a land slide  victory to the candidates put forward by Podujana Peramuna and its allied Parties led by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse.

මැරිලා උපන් සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස අවතාරය.

ජනාධිපති තේරීමේ චන්දය ඉවරවෙලා දැන් මාස දෙකකුත් වෙනවා . ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ස මහත්මා ලක්ෂ 70කට කිට්ටු චන්ද ගනනාවකින් ජනාධිපති ධුරයට පත්වෙලා ඉතාමත්  වගකීමකින් යුතුව යහපාලනය විසින් කඩා බිඳ දැමු පාලනශේත්‍රය ක්‍රමක්‍රමයකින් නගාසිටුවීමටත් ඉන් ජනතාවගේ බිඳී තිබෙන ජීවනරටාව ගොඩනැංවීමටත් මහත් උත්සාහයක් ගනිද්දී සජිත් සහ  යහපාලනයේ භූතයින් කියනවා එළවලු ගණන්, ගොවියන්ට සහන දීල නෑ, දුන් පොරොන්දු ක්‍රියාත්මක කරන්නේ නැතිව ජනතාව රවට්ටනවා කියල. 

මුන් අවුරදු හතරක්ම කලේ මිනිස්සු රවටලා හොරකම්කරලා උන්ගේ මඩි  තරකරගන්න එක. දැනුයි උන්ට මිනිස්සු ගැන කැක්කුමක් ඇතිවෙලා තියෙන්නේ. ජනතාව ගැන හිතනවානම් උන්ට තිබුන අස්වෙලා පාර්ලිමේන්තුව විසුරුවහැරලා චන්දයකට යන්න. 

එතකොට ගෝඨාභය ජනාධිපති තුමාට තිබුනා ආණ්ඩුවක් හදාගෙන අවශ්‍ය මුදල් ප්‍රදිපාදන ඇතුව රටේ නියත ආණ්ඩුවක් පිහිටවලා ජනතාවට ලැබිය යුතූ  පහසු කම් ලබාදෙමින් ඔහුගේ ආණ්ඩුවකින් රටගෙනයන්න. සජිත්ලා කෑ මොර තිබ්බට ගෝඨාභය ජනාධිපති තුමාට ඔවුන් සම්පුර්ණ සහාය දෙනවා කියල, ඔවුන් ව විශ්වශකළ හැකිද?ඒකෙන් උන් හදන්නේ ජනාධිපතිතුමාගේ වැඩ කටයුතුවලට උදව්කරනවා කියන මුවාවෙන් ඇවිත්  උන්ට අහිමි වූ ජනතා විශ්වාශය දිනාගන්නද ?  
කෙසේවෙතත් ජනතාව ජනාධිපති  ගෝඨාභය රාජපක්ෂ තුමා කෙරෙහි තබා ඇති විශ්වාශය කඩනොකරන්නේ ඔවුන්  රනිල් සජිත් ඇතුළු එක්සත්ජාතික පක්ෂය හා ඔවුන් සමග එක්ව සිටින චම්පික, මනෝ ගනේෂන්, හකීම්, මරික්කාර්, මුජුබු රහුමන්, අසාද් සාලි,ර්ශඩ් බද්යුදීන්  හැතිකරය, මේ රට ආගාතියට ඇද දැමූ දේශද්‍රෝහීන් බවට හඳුනාගෙන සිටින බැවිනි. 
මේ රට සිංහල බෞද්ධරටක් වියයුතුය. ඒ  සාමන්‍ය දෙමල, මුස්ලිම් හා අනිත් රටවැසියන්ගේ ආරක්ෂාව හා එකමතුකම,ආරක්ෂාකරගත හැක්කේ  සියයට 75ක් තරම් වන සිංහල බෞද්ධයයන් විසින්මය. ජනාධිපති නීතින්ඥ අලි සබ්රි මැතිතුමාද සිටින්නේ මේ මතයේය. ජාතික එකමුතුව, සමගිය කඩා දමන්නේ ආත්මාර්ථකාමී දෙමල, මුස්ලිම් දේශපාලන නායකයන් විසින්ය. එබැවින්  ශ්‍රී ලංකා ආණ්ඩුව කලයුත්තේ ඒ දෙමල මුස්ලිම් දේශපාලකයන්ගේ ඕනෑ එපාකම් සපුරාලීම නොවේ, දෙමල මුස්ලිම් සාමාන්‍ය ජනතාවගේ ඔනෑ එපාකම් සපුරාලීමයි. 
සජිත්  ප්‍රේමදාස පසුගිය අවුරුදු හතරේම රනිල්ගේ යහපාලනයේ සහකාරයෙක්ව සිටියේය. එබැවින් සජිත්  ප්‍රේමදාස, අග්‍රාමාත්‍ය රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහගේ ආණ්ඩුව මුල සිටම කල සියලූ විනාශකාරී දේශපාලන වැඩපිළිවෙලේ ක්‍රියාකාරී සාමාජිකයෙක්  වී සිටියේය. නමුත් අද සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස කතාකරන්නේ රටේ ජනතාවට ඒ සත්‍ය අමතකවී ඇතියයි සිතන මැරිලා උපන් අවතාරයක් වගේ. 
රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහගේ ආණ්ඩුව අමෙරිකාවත් සමග අත්සන්කරන්න සුදානම්ව සිටි රටට කිසිසේත්ම සුදුසු නැති ගිවිසුම් වලට  විරුද්ධව පාරලිමේන්තුවේදීවත් ප්‍රකාශයක් නොකළ සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස, අද ජනාධිපති ගොටාභය රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමාගේ ආණ්ඩුවට බෙරිහන්දෙනවා අමෙරිකාව ඉදිරිපත්කර තිබෙන  ගිවිසුම් හා සින්ගප්පුරුව සමග අත්සන් කර ඇති වෙළඳ ගිවිසුම් ඉරා දමන්න කියල. ඇයි මේක රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහට යහපාලන ආණ්‌ඩුකාලයේ කියන්න බැරි උනේ, කටේ ගෙඩිදාලා තිබුනද ? 

සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාසට දේශපාලන  දැක්මක් නෑ. ඒක අපි හොඳට ජනාධිපති චන්දයේදී දුටුවා. ඔහුගේ දේශපාලන ප්‍රතිපත්ති ප්‍රකාශනය පමාකලා ගොටාභය මැතිතුමාගේ රටහදන සෞභාග්‍යයේ දැක්ම ප්‍රකාශනය කරනකම් . ඊට පසුව සජිත් ඔහුගේ ප්‍රතිපත්ති ප්‍රකාෂණය  සකස්කළේ ගොටාභය මැතිතුමාගේ රටහදන සෞභාග්‍යයේ දැක්ම පදනම්කරගෙන. ඒක හින්දා වෙන්න ඇති දැන් සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස හැම තැනම කියා කියා යන්නේ ජනාධිපති ගොටාභය රාජපක්ස මැතිතුමා සමග වැඩකරන්න ඔහුට කිසිම ගැටලුවක් නැති බව. නමුත් රටේ ජනතාව දන්නවා එක්සත්ජාතික පක්ෂයත් සමග  හෝ ඊට සම්බන්ධ කිසිම දේශපාලන සංධානයක් සමග එක්ව පොහොට්ටුවට ගමනක් නැති බව. ඒ එල හරකයි මී හරකයි වගේ . සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාසගේ ඒ කතාවට රැවටෙන්න එපා.

අද අගමැතිකම බලාපොරොත්තුවෙන්  මැතිවරණයට තරඟ කරන්න හදන්නේ එදා ජනාධිපතිවරණයට තරඟ  කල සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාසගේ අවතාරයමයි. එදා ජනාධිපති ධුරයටමෙන්ම අද අගමැතිධුරයටත් සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස සුදුසු නොවන්නේ ඔහුගේ බලවත් මමත්වය “ මම සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස “ රණසිංහ ප්‍රේමදාසගේ  ජාන තියෙන පුතා කියා කියා තප්පුලමින් කරන අනාර්තවත් කතාව. 
රණසිංහ ප්‍රේමදාස  ජනාධිපති තුමා ගැන ජනතාව දන්නවා නේද ? ටයර් ගිනි  සෑයවල් අමතක නෑ නේද ? සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස මොනවාද කලේ ? කිසි තේරුමක් නැති ගම්මානවල් හැදුව. නමුත් ඒ නිවාස ලත් මිනිස්සු බැංකුවලින් ලබාගත් නය ගෙවාගන්න බැරිවී සිටිනවාලු. ඇරත් ඒ නිවාස  සංකීර්ණ උනත් නවතම ක්‍රමයකට හැදුවේ නැ . නිවාස හැදුවා කියන්න හැදුවා මිසක් අලුත් විධියක් ක්‍රමයක් ගැන කල්පනා කරලා හැදුවේ නෑ. ඔහු හැදුවේ දුප්පත් මිනිස්සුන්ට සුදුසු දුප්පත් ගෙවල්. ඔන්න මහලොකුවට කතාකරන සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස කල දේ.
එහෙම කෙනෙකුගෙන් කොහොමද මොනම  සංවර්ධන කටයුත්තක් අනාගතයට සුදුසු විධිමත් සැලැස්මක් අනුව සාදාගැනීමට බලාපොරොත්තුවෙන්නේ ?

ගොටාභය ජනාධිපතිතුමා සාමාන්‍ය චන්දයෙන් නැවත බලයට ඒමේ බලාපොරොත්තුවෙන් බල හා තනතුරු ලෝභයෙන් වැඩකරන දේශපාලකයෙක් නොවේ. ඔහු දේශපාලකයකුගේ එවැනි මනසින් යුත් කෙනෙක් නොවේ. ඔහුට උවමනා ඔහු ලැබූ තනතුරෙන් ලංකාව සෞභාග්‍යමත් ඉදිරිගමනක් සඳහා  අද ආසියාකරයේ දියුනුවෙමින් පවතින රටවල් වලට නොදෙවෙනි රටක් බවට සංවර්ධනය කිරීමටයි.

ඒ කාර්යට ඔහු සමග  ඒ සංවර්ධනයට සම්පුර්ණ සහාය දෙන විශ්වාෂ අගමැතිවරයෙක් හා ඇමති මණ්ඩලයක් ඔහුට අවශ්‍යයි. ඒ සඳහා ජනතාවගේ ආදරය අඩුවක් නැතිව තිබෙන විශ්වාසාත්මක අගමැතිධුරයට වඩාත්ම සුදුසු ඔහුගේම ආදර වැඩිමහල් සොහොයුරා මහින්ද රාජපක්ස මැතිතුමා සිටිනවා. ඇමති මණ්ඩලයකට සුදුස්සන් දැනටමත් ඔහුවටා රැස්ව සිටිනවා. එබැවින් ගොටාභය  රාජපක්ෂ ජනාධිපතිතුමාට අවශ්‍යවන්නේ ලබන මැතිවරණයේදී ජනතාව ඔවුන්ගේ චන්දයෙන් මහින්ද රාජපක්ස මැතිතුමා ඇතුළු පාරලිමේන්තුවේ තුනෙන් දෙකක බලයක් සඳහා පොහොට්ටුව වටා රැස්ව සිටින පක්ෂවලින් පමණක් ඉදිරිපත්වන පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රීවරු පිරිසක් තොරාපත්කරදීමට ජනතාවගේ සහායයි.  
එබැවින්  සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස වැනි බලලෝභී ආත්මවර්ණනාවෙන් පුම්බවාගත් අහංකාර, විෂවාශයක් තැබිය නො හැකි කෙනෙක් අගමැතිවශයෙන් හෝ සරත් ෆොන්සේකා, චම්පික රණවක, රාජිත සේනාරත්න මනෝගනේෂන්, මුජිබු රහුමාන්, මර්ක්කර්, රංගේ බණ්ඩාර වැනි වැඩකට නැති මිනිසුන් මන්ත්‍රීවරුන් වශයෙන්  පත් උනොත් ජනාධිපති ගොටාභය රාජපක්ස මැතිතුමාගේ රට හදන සෞභාග්‍යයේ දැක්මට කුමක් වේවිද ? ඔවුන් එතුමාගේ ඒ අපුර්ව ගමනට භාදාවක් වන බව ජනතාව නොදන්නේද ? 
මේ පිළිබඳව බුද්ධිමත්  සිංහල දෙමල මුස්ලිම් ජනතාව හොඳට හිතාබලා ඔබේ චන්දයෙන් සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාසත් ඔහුගේ දේශපාලන සගයනුත් දේශපාලන වේදිකාවෙන් සදහටම අතුගාදැමිය යුතුය. ඔවුන් මෙන්ම නිතරම රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමන් නියෝජනයකරන සමාජවාදී දේශපාලන පක්ෂ විවේචනය කරන ජනතා විමුක්ති පෙරමුණද  ගොටාභය රාජපක්ස්ෂ ජනාධිපතිතුමා සෞභාග්‍ය සඳහා යන ඉදිරි ගමනට භාධාවක් නිසා අහිතකරය . ඔවුන්ගෙන් රටට කිසිම සේවයක් මෙතෙක් නොලැබින . 
විවේචන  අවශ්‍යයි නමුත් එයත් සීමාවක් දැන රටවෙනුවෙන් කලයුතුය. නමුත් ජනතා විමුක්ති පෙරමුනේ විවේචනය  ඔවුන්ගේ බලතන්හාවෙන් හොඳ වැඩ හොඳ නොවන වැඩ නොබලා ඔවුන් විසින් බලය ගන්න තන්හාවෙන් කරන්නෙකි. එය සුදුසු නැත. 

මාර්කස් වාදයේ තියෙනවා මාර්ක්ස් වාදී පක්ෂ බලය පැමිණීමට නම්,   තිබෙන සමජවාදී පක්ස සමග එක්ව කටයුතු කලයුතු බව. නමුත් ජනතා විමුක්ති පෙරමුණ  ධනවාදී පක්ෂ, සමාජවාදී පක්ෂ හඳුනා නොගෙන ධනවාදී එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂයත් සමඟ අත්වැල් බැඳගෙන  ස්මජවාදිපක්ෂවලට විරුද්ධව කටයුතුකරනවා. එබැවින් ජනතාව ඔවුන් කෙරෙහි විශ්වාශය තබන්නේ නෑ . 

ජනාධිපති  ගොටාභය රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමන්ට විරුද්ධව  ජනතා විමුක්ති පෙරමුණත් සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස  ඇතුළු එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂ කාණ්ඩායම, බැංකු වෝහාරික රපොර්තුවේ දැක්වෙන කරුණු  කෙලින්ම රනිල් වික්‍රමසිංහ ඇතුලු කාණ්ඩායමට බලපාන නමුත්, එයත් මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ කඳවුරට පටවන්න හදනවා. මෙය ජනතා විමුක්ති පෙරමුණේ  නින්දිත හෙළාදැකිය යුතු ක්‍රියා පිළිවෙලක්. මෙයින් ජනතා විමුක්ති පෙරමුණ කෙලින්ම එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂ කඳවුරට වැටෙනවා. ජනතාව මෙය හොඳින් අවභෝධ කරගත යුතුයි. ජනතා විමුක්ති පෙරමුණට චන්දයදීම එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂයට චන්දය දෙනවා වගේම විනාශයකරා  රට ගෙනයාමක්.   
වෝහාරික  බැංකු රපොර්තුව වෙනම කතාකරමු. දැනට ලබන මාර්තු මාසයේ පැවැත්වීමට යෝජිත් පාර්ලිමේන්තු චන්දය පිළිබඳව මැරී උපන්න සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාසගේ ඒ සඳහා ප්‍රවේශවීම පිලිබඳ වචනයක් කියා මේ ලිපිය අවසන්කරමු. සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස මහත්මයා  එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂයේ අද පවත්නා ගැටලුසහිත වාතාවරනයෙන් ගැලවී චන්දයට ඉදිරිපත්වන්න හදන්නේ රටේ අගමැතිවරයා වෙන්නලු . මේ ප්‍රකාශනයත් සමග ජනතාවට හිතෙන්නේ චන්දය ඉල්ලන්න ප්‍රථම සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස මහතා ඔහුගේ මොලය පරික්ශාකරගතයුතු බවයි. සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස ඉදිරිපත්වෙන කොයියම් පක්ෂයකින් උනත් බලාපොරොත්තු වියයුත්තේ සැලකියයුතු  ප්‍රමානයක ආසන දිනාගැනීමයි. එසේ තිබියදී ඇතිකරගෙන තියෙන අගමැතිගාය තේරුම්ගන්න බැහැ. 
රටට දැනටමත් අගමැතිවරයෙකු සිටින නිසා එම තනතුර සඳහා සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස  රටට අවශ්‍ය නැත. මෙතරම් දුරට යහපාලනයත්, විනාශකාරී එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂයත් 69 ලක්ෂයක චන්ද දායකයින් විසින් ප්‍රතික්ෂේපකර ජනතා හිතකාමී දේශපාලන දැක්මක් ඇති ගොටාභය රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමා  ජනාධිපති වශයෙන් තෝරා පත්කරගෙන සිටින බැවින්, එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂයේ රටට අහිතකර ප්‍රතිපත්ති හිසේ තියාගෙන එන සජිත් ප්‍රේමදාස චන්දයෙන් දිනුවත් ඔහුව අගමැති වශයෙන් තෝරාගැනීමට ජනාධිපති  ගොටාභය රාජපක්ෂ මැතිතුමාට කිසිම උවමනාවක් නැත.

 Alaina B.Teplitz  you still have traces of genocidal traits you  inherited from your ancestors the Europeans who migrated to America about 600 years ago, and that is why you  have become a state slave to carry out  destructive plans of US State Department  as its Ambassador. You have no altruistic human qualities to evaluate the danger of the plans of USState Department to destroy Sri Lanka and untiringly work for separation of Communities in Sri Lanka, and make this beautiful country a military base of your country.

The proposed MCCC with Sri Lanka is a disaster.  Can you mention one developing country in the world which has benefited from any  Agreements it has signed with America.  To put it in another way America has not contributed  for the development of any developing country. They sign contracts which are beneficial to America  with little concern  to the country with which enters into such agreements.

There were people like you in the CIA , specially trained Agents  to put the minorities  against the majority in developing countries. Sri Lanka is not unaware of  such sinister American State plans  of putting minorities against the the  Sinhala majority and divide the communities to make the country weak and unstable to  facilitate drawing  benefits by such vulnerability. Teplitz; you are like an army  soldier taking orders from the  Commanders to shoot and eliminate the innocents and set up a system planned by your Commanders. You are like a bullet , which has know knowledge of what it does.

You know Teplitz the Indigenous Americans that consisted of 570 tribes  when the Europeans migrated to America had a history of over 15000 years.  Your immigrant ancestors brought with them viruses unknown to the indigenous American Indians who died in large numbers contaminated by these viruses. Some were killed in  armed attacks and burning down of their villages. They were massacred  using bacteria, viruses and toxin. They were dispossessed of their land, forcibly driven away into  settlements in  infertile hostile surroundings, where  they could neither cultivate nor hunt for  bisons for their food.  

In your infamous MCCC with Sri Lanka you have decide on an economic corridor from Colombo to Trincomalee and provided special  settlements  for the families who would be dispossessed of the land with your sinister  economic corridor which is to physically  divide the country  into two different land masses. And America is willing to pay 480 million Dollars just to cut the country  into two !

How much is Washington spending for the welfare of the indigenous American  Indian people and the  development of their settlements , and their culture ? Absolutely nothing is done for the welfare of the Indigenous Americans. They  are wilfully kept in poverty by the USA Government..

 What has happened to them today. The black Americans descending from the innocent Africans imported into America as Slaves have developed into a  important Community. American State Department is more sympathetic and pay more attention even to the Tamil Diaspora settled in America, than to the  American Indians who escaped the  American genocide against their ancestors. The white immigrant Americans have a history of only about 200 year and  celebrate their independence  annually.

But the indigenous Americans are forgotten. Though the terrorist sympathizing Tamils who migrated to America are now recognised and for their sake USA State Department is doing all they can to set up a separate Tamil Eelam in Sri Lanka for them to have their holiday homes,  while the indigenous Americans are kept in the shadow for fear of their  emerging as a  force against  the immigrants Europeans who have usurped their rights to set up a government of their own .

That is how America evolved  in a country that does not belong to them and massacred and over powered its rightful owners, and now shamelessly speak of democracy and human rights. Though the immigrant Europeans did not use the same method the Nazis used in their genocide of the Jews, what the immigrant Europeans did to the Indigenous American Indians smell the same Nazis  genocide of Jews. But at leasts the Jews could fight back , not the poor American Indians.

Therefore, the present day Americans however much they try to wash off  the remaining stains of the blood of the innocent indigenous Americans they massacred  and left for dead and forgotten, with whatever washing powder of democracy and human rights, the stains  remain .  Every descendent of  those European Immigrants to America will forever carry with them those  deadly taints.  It is more visible amoung  the American diplomats acting as the Agents of the tainted ruling Class
