Please do not vote for the Interim Report if you love this unique land with over 2500 years of history.

In ancient Ayurveda the test to detect presence of  sugar  in a diabetic patient is to  put  a drop of urine from the patient  on the ground.  If the drop of urine contains sugar the black ants which  love sugar trickle in numbers around the drop of urine proving that the drop of urine does contain sugar.

This methodology can be used as a sure means to detect whether  the Interim report hatched by Sirisena Ranil Government and placed before the Parliament contains  hidden inside it Federalism palatable to the Tamils.

Eureka there is certainly the poisonous Federalism hidden inside this Interim report. Because  the deadly black ants of the  Tamil National Alliance  MP M.A.Sumnthiran  has accepted it  calling it a historic moment for him ( though not for Sri Lanka).

Sumanthiran had said in Parliament , “This is a historic moment  that Tamil party Representatives  have agreed to the proposals made in the interim report. Let all join and support this.”.

They are the  ants around the drop of urine.

What more proof is necessary  for all those patriots of Sri Lanka now,  not to vote for this deadly Interim report placed before them which if passed  will be paving the way to allow the demons of Yahapalanaya prepare the the New Constitution with a federal character based on the Interim report.

The new  Constitution may have been already prepared by the experts  in the USA State Department. Perhaps the USS Nimitz the Aircraft Carrier with its  accompanying war ships  heralded the  delivery of Sri Lanka’s unitary status blasting New Constitution  to Ranil Wickramasinghe the US Agent in Sri Lanka.

We saw the Prime Minister do his war dance inside the Parliament, taking the Parliamentarians for a set of fools saying that it is only an interim report before them and there is lot of time for the New Draft Constitution to be presented. But the Parliamentarians should know that if they once vote in favour of the  interim report, the damage will be done  for the presentation of a New Constitution which would certainly be federal in character.

JVP Anura Kumara Dissanayake present at Salakuna  the Hiru TV programme showed that he is with Ranil Wickramasinghe and that he was supporting the presentation of a new Constitution based on the interim report presented in Parliament. The nick name the red elephant seems to suit him.

He said that once the people have rejected both the UNP and the SLFP the third force to form a government would be JVP as they had been politically “clean”. Is that enough to ascertain the people that JVP would be the correct political party to form a Government ?

Marxism is outdated and JVP has no valuable programme to be presented to the Country. Further more the JVP  leadership Anura, Bimal, Tilvin,Wijitha   are aggressive people and do not give the people the assurance that they would be good leaders to govern the country and give them peace and security.

Things to come if this new report is passed and a new Constitution is prepared in terms of the Interim report  became clear  from the interview of Sivajilingam a close relative of late Prabhakaran in Derana  360. Sivajilingam says the Constitution should be non religious and if the Sinhala people want Buddhism they can have it in the South and the North should be free of Buddhism,  as Buddha is already a God for them in their Kovils.

The Tamils had been given all what the Sinhala Majority enjoys and there is really no necessity for a reconciliation. It is not giving a federal Constitution that will change them but a change of mental attitude.  Otherwise the reconciliation effort by the Sinhala will be a waste of time , like pouring water on a ducks back.

In France there are the Algerians, Vietnamese, and Africans, but they have accepted the French Constitution , speak French and do not ask for separate regions with police powers. It is the Tamils in Sri Lanka that is separatists and ask for separation from the rest of the people.

This is mainly because the West and unfortunately UN too are not helping developing countries to unite its people and get them under one flag, but they encourage separation of minorities from the majority,  as it helps their agenda for  world power.

Sri Lanka should not give in to this Separatist mentality of the Tamils , but find means to get them to become normal citizens of Sri Lanka, sharing all the citizen rights of the Country as it happens in France, USA, etc.

The proposed new Constitution to be prepared on the basis of the interim report  being debated in parliament today will not help unity of Communities as it gives into separatism and eventual break up of the Country, which is what the USA and the West is expecting to happen.

This should be understood by the Parliamentarians  and do what is necessary to avoid the  precipitation of  this eventual doom of separation by voting against the Interim Report now so that they will not be responsible for what is to come. 

Sudarshani Fernandopulle in an interview to Ceylon Today says,  that there is no harm voting for the present document being debated as it is only  a report. How naïve are these SLFP Group with Sirisena who are more concerned with their Ministerial posts rather than the danger looming before Sri Lanka.

The President Maithripala Sirisena’s voice against this interim report has not been heard obviously because his hands are bound and voice silenced by his Prime Minister who is working to the Agenda of the USA and the West along with Chandrika a Member of the NED-National Endowment for Democracy which promotes NGOs  with an aim to destabilise countries-sovereign States,  on  programmes supposed to be to re- establish democracy.

The Parliamentarians are prayed on behalf of the ordinary people of  Sri Lanka to keep in Mind that Sri Lanka is unique being the only country in the world where Sinhala is spoken and the Theravada Buddhism exists, which is the identity of Sri Lanka.

The interim report that is being debated in Parliament if passed with a two third majority would be the end of all that Sri Lanka had been for the  last 2600 years. Sri Lanka had been thrice blessed by the visit of the Compassionate Buddha and should be saved from the diabolical Yahapalana forces.

Saying it’s not the Constitution but an Interim report, Sirisena –Ranil want it passed with a two third majority in Parliament.

Friends, fellow Patriots, if the Constitution is to be ours, written by a free people, we must first resist this diabolical project!  Tamara Kunanayakam.

The Sirisena Ranil Yahapalanaya hoodwinks the Parliamentarians and the people to pass the so called interim report placed before Parliament by a two third majority to make it the document on which their New Constitution with a federal character will be written or has already been written, to be presented to the Parliament.

Who wants a new Constitution to Sri Lanka ? The people of Sri Lanka do not want a new Constitution, they want to live in peace, brining in all Communities into one Nation of Sri Lankans ?

The West lead by USA is determined to write a New Constitution to  make Sri Lanka a Federal State giving the Tamil Community equal rights with the Sinhala Majority. USA Ambassador Keshup seems to be some how  behind the project with the active support of the US State Department.

Tamara Kunanayaka says in an article to Investig’Action, that even the name given to this Ranil-Sirisena Government “Yahapalanaya or Good Governance”  had been proposed by the USA . Good Governance is a term  coined by IMF, World Bank and the US Treasury as a political conditionality for the enslavement of indebted countries of the third world.  

The Sirisena –Ranil Governments proposal to write New Constitution had been pre-arranged perhaps even before  Presidential election of 8^th January,2015 on the insistence of  the  US State Department on the demand of the Tamil Diaspora.

It was evident from the many high ranking US Officials visiting Sri Lanka an making visits to the North or issuing Statements from Temple Trees as it was by US Acting Secretary of State Alice Wells , Edward Marks  one time US Deputy Chief of Mission (1987) who said that transformation from Colonial rule to an independent nation state is proving to be too much for fragile mlti- ethnic societies.

There were two visits by John Kerry the  US Secretary of State, and the US Under Secretary for Political Affaires Jeffrey Feltman, Samantha Powers, George Soros who said that Sri Lanka has no Constitutional Democracy, and  Nisha Bswal US Assistant Secretary of State admitting that the US Human Rights Council Resolution foreshadows the writing of a new Constitution to Sri Lanka.  Then the US Ambassador for Sri Lanka Atul Keshap stated that Washington would assist drafting a Constitution to Sri Lanka.

Is it now not clear that Sirisena-Ranil Government is all out to write a Constitution based on the interim report placed before the parliament and on which there would be a debate  from to day for which  interim report they are seeking a two third majority in parliament, not for the people of Sri Lanka but for the want of the USA and the West ?

Is it not enough evidenc  from the coincidence of  the US Nimitz Nuclearpowere  Aircraft Carrier along with six warships are scheduled to arrive or have already arrived in Sri Lanka just when the debate to pass the interim report to draft a new Constitution to Sri Lanka is to be debated.

Isn’t it a show of American Force,as a  threat to the Sirisena-Ranil  Government to honour what ever promises they have made to the USA , the West and the Talmil Diaspora ?

Think my dear compatriots who else other than Sirisena –Ranil and USA, wants a New Constitution to Sri Lanka ?

Even the 62 lakhs of people who voted for Sirisena did not want a new Constitution, the ordinary Tamil people are not interested in it,  other than the TNA Tamils and the Tamils of the diaspora and their sympathisers. The people of Sri Lanka do not want a new Constitution, they want to live in peace, they want security, they want a better standard of living, they only want to be a part of  a united community of the Nation of Sri Lankans ?

Yahapalanaya was never given a mandate by the people to write a new Constitution. Nevertheless the Yahapalanaya Government is going ahead with the same determination of the President Mahinda Rajapakse to eliminate terrorism, to write a new Constitution  giving the Tamils almost all  that the terrorists yearned to have through their ruthless terrorism.

Yahapalanaya which refused a Chinese Submarine to enter the Colombo port , and when President Mahinda Rajapakse was criticised both  by India and the then UNP opposition when he allowed a Chinese Submarine to dock in the Colombo Port in October, 2014, has now allowed  a whole American naval battalion to dock in Colombo Port !!

The new Constitution for Sri Lanka has perhaps already been written and the attempt to pass a document saying it is not the new Constitution is just hood winking the people and the  naïve Parliamentarians. It is pointless asking for amendments to the  document the SLFP and the JO have placed before the Parliament today for discussion as these enemies of the nation,  will accept all amendments  to have the two third majority vote to pass the document as a bill!!.

Therefore the Parliamentarians of the JO , SLFP and others of all shades of political view, if they really  love this Unique Sinhala Buddhist country the like of which exists no where else in the world , should not vote for this diabolic documents which would be the first step in presenting the New Constitution perhaps written by  the USA experts who know how to hide the truth and make the falsehood look like the truth.

It is perhaps time for the people to take to roads to protest against this interim report for a New Constitution which if passed would  annihilate the historical Sri Lanka twhich would  never be the same again.

Juda after the last "Hopper", sold his leader and friend to his enemies.

This is for those in Yahapalanaya who champion SLFP remaining with UNP.

Some where in the month of November, 2014, Maithripala Sirisena shared the “last hopper” with his political leader and friend and broke away from the SLFP to the opposite camp led by UNP.

It was exactly the opposite of what SWRD Bandaranaike did in 1951, when he broke away from the UNP and left to form his own political party the SLFP.

Maithripala Sirisena had no one to accompany him  when he left the SLFP to join the UNP, where as SWRD had a number of followers  who left the UNP along with him who formed the SLFP in 1956.

Maithripala Sirisena had Ranil Wickramasinghe the UNP Leader  and Chandrika  Kumaratunga ( an unconvinced SLFP er) to welcome him to the UNP side.

But SWRD  as the leader of  SLFP  had the Sri Lanka left wing political leaders, Philip Gunawardhane , N.M.Perera, Dr.S.A.Wickramasinghe, Colvin R. De Siva, Peter Keuneman  and others to welcome him , who later founded  along with SLFP the Mahajana Eksath Peramuna.

Maithripala Sirisena left the SLFP to became a part of the UNP led Common Opposition  to SLFP. Later power seeking politicians in the SLFP like Sarath Amunugama, Mahinda Samarasinghe, S.B.Dissanayake  et al trickled in  to take refuge behind Maithripala Sirisena.

As long as President Maithripala Sirisena remains a part of the UNP lead Government , he has no moral right to be the President of the SLFP. Therefore in reality it would still be Mahinda Rajapakse who is the President of the SLFP which was founded by SWRD Bandaranayake.

President Mahinda Rajapakse what ever his adversaries have to say about him was a generous leader. He  knew that with Maithripala Sirisena  as the President some of the members of the SLFP  greedy for power would leave the party like rats leaving a sinking ship.

Therefore, Mahinda Rajapakse did not want to be responsible for the breakup of the SLFP of SWRD Bandaranayake, who built the Party for the people of Sri Lanka and for the progress of it, economically, socially and culturally. Therefore seeing that the power greedy members of the SLFP were already trickling to  sit on the shade besides Maithripala Sirisena, the President Mahinda Rajapakse the visionary leader he was took a decision to hand over the Presidency of the SLFP to the new President.

In doing so on the 16 January,2015, he said  that ‘…..Having held membership and various offices including the Party leadership, and having nurtured and safeguarded the Party with great dedication for over 50 years, I am taking this decision as I have a great dislike to see the Sri Lanka Freedom Party face the danger of division.”

For Maithripala Sirisena that was an unexpected windfall. He accepted it without any graceful word of gratitude. His letter of acceptance addressed to the President Mahinda Rajapakse was not like a letter of a farmer’s son elevated to the high office of a President, not the words of a President  addressed to his people- not only to  the 62 lakhs who voted for him but also to those who voted against him.

Maithripala Sirisena if he is a good Buddhist President, he should not spit venom at anyone not even at his enemies. Becoming the office of a President is a great responsibility because once elected he becomes the President of all the people of the Country those who voted for him, as well as those who voted against him, of his friends and of his enemies.

But Srisena nevertheless wrote a pretentious, grotesquely  hateful, letter which does no honour even  to the name “Maithripala” he bears.

He wrote, “Both of us entered national politics from this great party. The SLFP and the voters who kept their faith in it made you the Executive President of this country twice. However, I have become the President in a different manner. That is, by challenging you as the candidate of the common opposition, and by giving leadership to and organizing the growing discontent with your administration. Thereby, I have been able to retain the Executive Presidency within the party as it was slipping away from you and the party. The secret to my success of winning the trust of all opposition parties and groups that stood against you was the inseparable, untainted and genuine relationship between me and the SLFP.”

History of Sri Lanka are plenty of stories of persons who honoured and respected their defeated enemies. After all Maithripala Sirisena cannot have any personal animosity against the man with whom he had the “last hopper” before he caste him to the hostile arena of political enemies. That only shows how low people can fall even in winning the highest office in  the country.

What appears to have happened today is that the President Maithripala Sirisena has become a decotration , his voice not been heard on important political issues that has set fire on the minds of Sinhala Buddhists. He is unable to  execute what he thinks is correct and rectify the errors  of  his Prime Minister.

His hands are bound by whatever agreements he may have entered into with UNP, TNA,JVP, JHU, SLMC and the rest. He saw the worst Bond Scam ever happening before his eyes, but he could not even sack the miscreant Governor of the Bank. He appointed a Presidential Commission of Investigation into the Bond Scan but the UNP Ministers called to give evidence was not allowed to be cross examined. Then again when the Prime Minister was about to be called before the Commission, the Commission was asked to terminate further sittings.

Maithripala Sirisena has become this Yahapalanaya Government’s President for reconciliation with Tamils and nothing else. He pardons the LTTE sympathisers who had attacked him, but he allows  Mahinda Rajapakse , his family and his supporters to be accused on false allegations.

The Local Government elections are prolonged even by use of  ruse and falsehood.

A ridiculously , but a most disastrous  interim report on the new Constitution to be written is placed before the Parliament. In the proposed  Sinhala version of the  Constitution they use a Tamil word to define Unitary as if the Sinhala language has no word to define ‘Unitary’. They use the word Orumittanadu abandoning even the Tamil word hitherto used to define Unitary in the Tamil version of the 1978 Constitution.

The English version of the Constitution is also to  have the word ekiya/ orumittanadu  instead of unitary. Who in the world reading our constitution in English will understand  what is  Ekiya Orimittanadu ? Are they writing a Constitution or a Comedy ?

The President with his hands bound is helpless – he has to say yes to his Prime Minister who  in turn is  bound by his white masters of the West to write a New Constitution at all cost. The President acts as required by his Prime Minister, as a tool for reconciliation. The National Anthem is already mutilated, being  sung in Tamil by the Tamil and in Sinhala by the Sinhala.

If Sri Lanka is to be saved the writing of the new Constitution should be stopped and executive powers of the President should be restored.

In this  present situation if the President hesitates to put his foot down and say no to evil actions being perpetrated against Sri Lanka by Ranil Wickramasinghe and his UNP cohorts, the President Maithripala Sirisena will go down to history as a puppet President who sold Sri Lanka to Tamils on a pseudo reconciliation project where only the Sinhala people want reconciliation while Tamils want separation.

If Maithripala Sirisen as the President is unable to use his Presidential authority or executive powers to stop the writing of a new Constitution based on the interim report now before them in the Parliament, the SLFPers who had taken refuge behind  the President should have the courage and the  intelligence  to leave him.

Because,  in not taking any action to stop Ranil Wickramasinghe and his UNP companions continuing to destroy the sovereignty , independence, and unity amoung the Communities in Sri Lanka, all those SLFPers supporting  Maithripala Sirisena will be equally  responsible for destabilising and ending the 2500 or more years old Sri Lanka that belong primarily to the Sinhala Buddhists, and then to the minory communities who had accepted to live with the Sinhala as Sri Lankans..

Which way is Sri Lanka Going ?

It has to be determined by all the members of the SLFP in the Parliament. If they are real patriots and members of the SLFP formed by SWRD Bandaranayake they should stand as one against the interim report for a new Constitution which is due to be debated in Parliament. They should  refuse to give the two third majority to pass the destructive document as a bill which would be the basis for a Constitution with a definite Federal Character as demanded by the West and the Tamil Diaspora.

එස්ඩබ්ලිව්ආර්ඩී බණ්ඩාරනායක එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂයෙන් ඉවත් වී පෙළගැසුනේ වාමාන්සික පක්ෂ සමගය.

සිරිසේන ජනාධිපති තුමා සමග සිටින  ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිදහස්පාක්ශිකයින් රෙදි ඇඳන් සිටිත් නම් පාරලිමේන්තුවට ඉදිරිපත්කර තිබෙන ව්‍යවස්ථා අතුරු වාර්තාවට චන්දය නොදිය යුතුය. එස්ඩබ්ලිව්ආර්ඩී බණ්ඩාරනායක මැතිතුමා එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂයෙන් ඉවත් වී  පෙළගැසුනේ ෆිලිප්  ගුණවර්ධන මැතිතුමා ඇතුලූ වාමාන්සිකයින් සමග බව අමතක නොකලයුතුය.

ප්‍රශ්න නැතිවාටද මේ බටහිරට දනගහන  විකුර්ති යහපාලනය කියන වචනයටත් නිගා දෙන ආණ්ඩුව ව්‍යවස්තා අතුරු වාර්තාවක් කියලා එකක්  පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට ඉදිරිපත්කරලා තියෙන්නේ. කාගෙන්ද  කවදද මුන්ට ව්‍යවස්ථාවක් හදන්න ජනවරමක් ලැබුනේ.  ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ මුන්ට චන්දය දුන්න වුන් බලපොරොත්තු උනේ  මහින්ද රාජපක්ස ජනාධිපති තුමාගේ ආණ්ඩුව කළාටත් වැඩි යමක් මුන් රටට කරයි කියල.

නමුත්  අද වෙලාතියෙන්න කුමක්ද ? රටේ මහා බැංකුවත් සුරා ගෙන කාලා, රටේ සම්පත් අවුරුදු සියගනනකට බදුදෙනවා  ඒ කියන්නෙ විකුණලා . උන් ආන්ඩුකරන්ට ඇවිත් අවුරුදු තුනක් යන්ටත් ඉස්සර  අපේ රට සම්පුර්ණ අගාදියකට ඇදදාළ තියෙන්නේ .

මේ මර උගුලෙන් ගැලවෙන්නට විධියක් පේන මාන්නයක නැ. කොහොමහරි විධියකින් මුන් එළවන්නේ නැතිව රට වැටිලාතියෙන අගාදියෙන් බේරාගන්න පුළුවන්කමක් නම් නැ. මිනිස්සුන්ට එදාවේල කන්ටවත් නැතිව  හෙට දවස ගැන හිතෙනකොට රාත්‍රියේ සුවසේ නිදන්ටත් බැරි අසහනයකට රටේ බහුතර ජනතාව වැටිලයි ඉන්නේ.

ශ්‍රී ලංකාවට ව්‍යවස්ථාවක් ලියන්නේ ජයන්ත වික්රමරත්නයි සුමන්දිරනුයි. මුන්ට ව්‍යවස්ථාවක් ලියන්න තරම් දැනුමක්  තියෙන්ට බෑ. මුන්ට වඩා සුදුසු කම් තියෙන වුන් රටේ නැතිවා නොවෙයි. නමුත් මුන් තමා ශ්‍රියානි බණ්ඩාරනායක මහවිනිසිකරු ධුරයෙන් ඉවත්කලාම ඇ වෙනුවෙන් සටනක් ගෙන ගියේ.  මුන් තෝරා ගෙන තියෙන්න ඒ උත්සාහයට කලගුනසලකීමක් වශයෙන් වෙන්ට පුළුවන්, සුමන්දිරන් අල්ලන්තින්නේ සංහිඳියාව නගාසිටුවන්ට.

මේ ව්‍යවස්ථාවක් හදන්න ජනවරමක් නැති  යහපාලනය කියාගන්න නඩය ආණ්ඩුකරන්නේ සින්හල ජනතාවට වැඩිය උන්ට විශාල වශයෙන් චන්දයදීලා මුළු චන්ද ගණන ලක්ෂ 62 කරලා මහින්ද රාජපක්ෂ ජනාධිපතිතුමා පරද්දන්න  උදව් කල දෙමළ දේශපාලකයන්ගේ උවමනාවන් ලබාදීමට. මේ අතර තුර විග්නේෂ්වරන් කියන දෙමළ පිස්සුවකින්  ඉන්න කොළොඹ දෙමළ කියනවා ලංකාව කිසිම ආගමකට තැනක් නොදෙන අනාගාමික රටක් විය යුතුයි කියලා.

මේවා බලනකොට පෙනෙන්නේ මේ සිරිසේන රනිල් ආණ්ඩුව  බලාපොරොත්තුවන්නේ සමහරක්විට විදේශීය දෙමළ දයස්පොරාවේ සිත් දිනාගෙන ඒමගින් දෙමළ දයස්පොරාවට උදව් දෙන බටහීර රටවල් වලින් රටේ ප්‍රශ්නවිසඳාගැනීම සඳහා ලබාගත හැකියයි  සිතන උපකාරවියහැකියි.  බටහීරින් නම් අපේ රට දියුණු කරන්න ඉදිරිපත් වෙන්නේ නැ. උන්ට ඕනෑ අපේ වගේ රටවල් දුප්පත් උන්ගෙන් යැපෙන රටවල් කරන්න. ඒක මේ කාලකන්නින්ට තේරෙන්නේ නැ.

මුන්ට මේ ව්‍යවස්ථාව මැදින් ෆෙදෙරල් ක්‍රමයක් පිහිටවල රට බෙදන්න උදවු දෙන්නේ ලකාවේ පවත්වාගෙන යන ඇමෙරිකානු ආදී විදේශීය තානාපති වරුන්. දෙමළ ඩයස්පෝරාවට ලැදි  මෙවුන් එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ සංගමයත් මේකට සම්බන්ද කරගෙන ඒ සංගමයෙ මුදලින් යැපෙනවායි  ආරංචිමාර්ගවලින් දැනගන්න තියෙන කාර්යමන්ඩලයක්ද ව්‍යවස්ථා සෑදීමේ කාර්යයට සම්බන්දකරගෙන කරන්ට හදන්නේ පාර්ලිමේන්තුවට අතුරු ව්‍යවස්ථාවක් කියල එකක් ඉදිරිපත්කරලා රට මුලාකරලා හෙමින්සීරුවේ ෆෙඩරල් ව්‍යවස්ථාවක් හැදීමට සුදානම් කිරීමයි .

හැමරටකම ඒ රටේ ව්‍යවස්ථාව සාදාගැනීමට යොදවාගන්නේ ඒ රටේ මහජාතියේ ඒ සඳහා විශේෂ දැනුමක් තියෙන උදවිය. නමුත්  රටට මොකක් උනත් උන් බලයේ සිටින්න තියෙන ආසාව නිසා  ලංකාවේ  බෞද්ධ සංස්කෘතියයි  අවුරුදු 2600කටත් වඩා පැරණි බුද්ධාගමයි විකුණන්ට තරම් බලලොබි යක්ෂයින් අලුත් ව්‍යවස්ථාවක් හදාගන්න යන්නේ ලංකාවට හා ලංකාවේ දේශීය අනන්‍යතාවයට කිසිසේත්ම ලැදිකමක් නැති  සම්බන්දලා, සුමන්දිර්න්ලා, මනෝ ගනේෂන්ලා,  මජිබුර් රහ්මාන්ලා වැන්නවුන් ගේ සහභාගීත්වයෙනුයි.

ලංකාවේ ජනාධිපති  කාර්යාලයේ දීපාවලි උත්සවයක් පවත්වලා සිරිසේන ජනාධිපති කියනවා  රටේ අවුරුදු තිහක් නැතිවී  තිබුණ ජාතීන් අතර මිත්‍රත්වය නැවත ඇතිකරන්න  උත්සාහකරනකොට අන්තවාදියෝ  ඒ උත්සාහයට අකුල්හෙලනවා කියල.

මේ රටේ ජනතාවට උවමනා නැති ඒ සඳහා ජනතාව  වරමක්වත් නොදුන්  ආණ්ඩුව ව්‍යවස්ථා මගඩියකින් රට බෙදන්න හදන එක නවත්තන්න උත්සාහ කරන දේශප්‍රේමීන් සිරිසෙන දකින්නේ අන්තවාදියෝ හැටියටයි.  අපට හිතන්ට බෑ සිරිසෙන ජනාධිපතිවත් හරියට දන්නවද කියල  රනිල් වික්රමසින්හ බටහිර බලවේග එක්ක එකතුවෙලා රටට කරන්ට යන විනාශය.

අද රට කරන්නේ සිරිසේන ජනාධිපතිගේ නායකත්වයෙන් නොවෙන බව සක්සුදක් සේ පෙනෙද්දී  ජනාධිපති ඒ බව දකින්නෙ නැ.  බැඳුම්කර වංචාව සම්භන්දයෙන් පරීක්ෂාකරන්න පිහීටවූ ජනාධිපති කොමිසමට ගෙන්වපු අමාත්‍ය වරුන් දෙදෙනාගෙන් ප්‍රශ්න නොකරන්න හේතුවත්, මේ කොමිසිම ඉදිරියට අග්‍රාමාත්‍යවරයා ගෙන්වීමට සුදානමක් තියන බව දැනුම්දීමේදී  හදිසීයේම කොමිසම විසුරුවහරින්න තීරණයක් ගත්තේ කවුද මොනහෙතුවක්නිසාද කියන එකවත් ජනාධිපති තුමා දැන සිටියාද ?

මේ සිරිසේන රනිල් ආණ්ඩුව  පසුගිය කාලයෙ  20 වන සංශෝධනයට විරුද්ධ තීන්දුවක් ගෙනාවම  ඒ විරෝධයට පිටින්  මහ උසාවියේ තීන්දුව වෙනස්කරලා  පළාත් පාලන චන්ද පමාකරන්නට ප්‍රාදේශීය සභා පනත පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ තුනෙන් දෙකේ චන්දයකින් දිනා ගත්තා වගේ වංචනික වැඩ කරන මේආණ්ඩුව කෙරෙහි මොනම විශ්වාසයක් තියන්න පුලුවන්ද ?

කරුණු එසේනම් දැනට පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ ඉදිරිපත්කරලා තියෙන අතුරුවාර්තාව මිනිස්සුන් රවටන්ට කරන මගඩිය, මේ නොවැම්බර පලවනදා  තුනෙන්දෙකක චන්දයකින්  දිනාගන්නට හැකි උනොත් ඉන් පසුව එන්නේ ෆෙඩරල් නොවන ව්‍යවස්ථාවක් දැයි  රටේ  ජනතාවට පිළිගත හැකි සහතිකය මොකක්ද?

එදා 1956 එස්ඩබ්ලිව්ආර්ඩී බණ්ඩාරනායක මැති තුමා  එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂය මේ රට කවදානමුත් නැවතත් විදේශීය කොලොනියක් කරනවා ඇතයි  සිතා එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂයෙන් ඉවත්වී ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිදහස්පක්ෂය සාදා ආණ්ඩුවක් පිහිටෙව්වේ කිසිදාක නැවතත්  ආපසු එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂයට  මුක්කු තියන බලාපොරෝතුවකින් නොවේ.

මේ  සිරිසේන රනිල් ගෙනයන මගඩිය ජනාධිපති තුමා වටා සිටින ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිදහස්පාක්ශිකයින්  තේරුම්  ගතයුතුය.

මේ බව සිරිසේන ජනාධිපති තුමාට නොතේරෙනවානම් එතුමා  රනිල් ගේ ඔඩොක්කුවෙ තවදුරටත් ලැගගෙන ඉන්න සුදානම්ව සිටිත් නම්  සිරිසේන ජනාධිපති තුමා සමග සිටින  ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිදහස්පාක්ශිකයින් එස්ඩබ්ලිව්ආර්ඩී බණ්ඩාරනායක මැති තුමාට ගෞරව දෑක්වීමක් වශයෙන් වහා  සිරිසේන ජනාධිපති තුමාගේ තුරුල්ලෙන් ඉවත්වීය යුතුය.

සිරිසේන ජනාධිපති තුමා සමග සිටින  ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිදහස්පාක්ශිකයින් රෙදි ඇඳන් සිටිත් නම් පාරලිමේන්තුවට ඉදිරිපත්කර තිබෙන ව්‍යවස්ථා අතුරු වාර්තාවට චන්දය නොදිය යුතුය. එස්ඩබ්ලිව්ආර්ඩී බණ්ඩාරනායක මැතිතුමා එක්සත් ජාතික පක්ෂයෙන් ඉවත් වී පෙළගැසුනේ  ෆිලිප්  ගුණවර්ධන මැතිතුමා ඇතුලූ වාමාන්සිකයින් සමග බව අමතක නොකලයුතුය.

Democracy ! Democracy !! Where art thou ?

Yahapalanaya is a misnomer,  it is a Sirisena-Ranil Dictatorship.

The Present Government of Sri Lanka is a Sirisena,  Ranil and UNP Dictatorship. It is really the UNP that governs under the label SLFP-UNP joint Yahapalanaya Government. It is not a popular government though they speak of a 62 lakhs of the population voting for them. But how was this  62 lakhs made up ? 

Let us see.

For the 2015 Presidential election Maithripala Sirisena had the highest voting  for him coming from the Tamils and the Muslims.  Maithripala Sirisena  got 78 percent of the Votes in Vanni, 74 percent of the votes in Jaffna, 81 percent of the votes in Batticaloa, and 71 percent of the votes in Trincomalee. 

And from his own home District of Polonnaruwa Sirisena got only 57 per cent of the votes. Even  Ranil Wickramasinghe’s UNP could muster only 55.93 per cent of votes from Colombo the UNP Stronghold for the Candidate Sirisena. And they still talk of the 62 lakhs of popular vote to Presidential Candidate Maithripala Sirisen        

Recently when the President Sirisena made an official visit to Jaffna the organisers of the Northern protests against him said, “ that the President should not forget that he got the highest votes from the North and the East in 2015, and it is in return for those votes that they are now making demands for a Federal Government, merging of the North and East, removal of the Sri Lanka Armed Forces from North and East, and release the former LTTE suspects held in Prison”.

So much for Sirisena Ranil Government for being a popular  democratic Government of the people, for the people , by the people.

It is in reality a Government of Maithripala Sirisena and Ranil Wickramasighe, for some of the people, the Tamil Diaspora, TNA,the USA and the West, by Ranil, Sirisena, Chandrika and the UNP.

The whole SLFP-UNP set up Government is for the reconciliation with the Tamils, write a Constitution to please the West led by USA, the Tamil Diaspora, and the Tamil politicians led by the TNA.

When Dew Gunasekara COPE report was about to be presented to the Parliament, the President Maithripala Sirisena adviced by his Prime Minister dissolved the parliament. That was because the COPE report prepared under  Dew Gunasekara  to investigate the Central Bank Bond Scam was supposed to have been an overwhelming accusation against the leadership of the UNP, and Arjun Mahendran appointed on the Recommendation of the Prime Minister  as the Governor of the Central Bank Bond Scam.

When there were multiple  accusations against the Governor of the Central Bank and the Government on the Central Bank Bond Scam,  the Prime Miniter appointed  Messrs Gamini Pitipana, Mahesh Kalugampitiya, and Chandimal Mendis- three  UNP loyalists as a Three Member Committee to investigate into the accusations against the Governor of the Central Bank Arjuna Mahendran.  The Committee reported that there was no evidence that the  Governor of the Central Banka had direct participation with regard to  the activities of the PDD and the Tender Board Committee. 

No one was satisfied with the report of the Committee and the Parliament directed the COPE under JVP MP Sunil Handunetti to make a fresh investigation. This report which was ready to be submitted to the Parliament was delayed on the demand of the UNP members of the COPE who made an unusual demand to include a series of foot notes to the COPE report,  thus mitigating the seriousness of the findings of the COPE. This report of the COPE hence did not serve the purpose for which it was made.

Finally the President Sirisena was compelled to appoint a Presidential Commission to investigate into the Bond Scam. Some did not  expect any thing new  to come of it. But the Commission (PCol) took an unexpected turn with the appointment of the Additional Solicitor General Dappula De Livera and Deputy Solicitor General Milinda Gunatilleke  to question the witnesses giving evidence before the Commission. They were two uncompromising investigators which turned tables on the pseudo Yahapalanaya Regime itself.

The witnesses coming before the PCol, on intelligent and forceful questioning by the De Livera –Gunatilleke duo elucidated overwhelming evidence that forced the award winning Finance minister of the  Government to tender his resignation from the government, nevertheless without resigning from his membership in the Parliament. 

The turn of events with the investigation by the Presidential Commission became dangerous both to the Government and to the Prime Minister when the Ministers Kabir Hasshim, and Malik Samarawickrama were summoned before the PCol. The path was being cleared to rope in before the Commision the key figure of the Government who was the Minister in Charge of the Central Bank.   Some one had to do some thing lest the Prime Miniter himself would be question by the indomitable De Livera-Gunatilleke duo.

Burt surprisingly ,some unknown hand had moved and perhaps the Commission had suddenly been asked that the two Ministers Kabir Hussain and Malik Samarawickrama should not be subjected to questioning before the Commission. As an extension to this decision of the Commission not to question the two Ministers, it was being said that the Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe may be called before the Commission. Ranil Wickramasinghe immediately made a statement to the press that he is ready to face the Commission.

But again  perhaps the same hand that stopped the Dew Gunasekara COPE report being presented to the then Parliament, moved to stop the further sittings of the Presidential Commission of investigation into the Bond Scam, and the Prime Minister was thus  saved from being investigated on the role he played in the Bond Scam.

Now the Prime Minister will not be asked to explain why he took over the Central Bank under his Ministry ? Why he recommended for  appointment a   citizen of Singapore as the Governor of the Central Bank,  and why he appointed a three man Committee to absolve Arjuna Mahendra from any accusation for any part he played in the Bond Scam ? He need not even explain why he appointed Arjuna Mahendra as a Counsel to Prime Minister, despite a “sword of Democles-the Bond Scam” hanging over his head ?

Are these arrangements  a part of a Sirisena –Ranil Chintanaya hell bent on calling their government  a “Yahapalanaya” ?

Where is “democracy” hiding in this utterly obnoxious  SLFP-UNP joint Government ?

Let us not talk about Bribery and Corruption in the pseudo democracy, which robs the people right and left  continuing to call the previous Government of Mahinda Rajapakse was corrupt and continuing  to allow  the Yahapalanaya police force the FCID to accuse and imprison harmless Ministers, Administrators and men and women who had any connection to Mahinda Rajapakse government.

The whole Parliament is in the complete control of the UNP. The Speaker defends the members of the Parliament according to which political  Party they belong. He recognised TNA the official Oppositon, appointed  Opposition Whip from JVP, while refusing to accept a 54 member joint Opposition the Official Opposition of the Parliament.

What is left with this Sirisena –Ranil Government to call it a Yahapaalanaya ?

As Malinda Seneviratne says the apologists to this governments are now reduce to an “At Least Thesis” in the tired game of comparison”.

Let’s see even in  passing bills in Parliament  how the  Sirisena- Ranil pseudo Yahapalanaya white-washes their Dictatorship with a brash colour to fool the people,  calling it the colour of Democracy. Of course in the Parliament the Speaker holds the “brush”. 

It is best read  in the article, “ Attorney General in the Dock” by   Malinda Seneviratne in his face book.

The question is whether, “……Over and above all of this, the negligence of Attorney General Jayasuriya points to scandalous deceiving of the Speaker and demonstrates an unwillingness on his part to represent and act for the people in the Republic of Sri Lanka”. Was it deceiving the Speaker, or whether the Speaker allowing himself to be deceived ?

SAITM  problem too had a easy solution but this government does not want to solve it making it another factor to smudge the image the people have of Mahinda Rajapakse. This is another affront to democracy, clouding their Dictatorship.

Yesterday the Maha Sangha issued a statement that they are not only against the writing of a new Constitution, but also making any Amendments to it or withdrawing  the executive powers of the President. But Ranil wants to cover his nudity by blaming the Media for making this  report , when the Malwatte Mahanayake Thero he says  is away from the country.

From the beginning of this government labelling it is Yahapalanaya,  the President had been acting as a Dictator, issuing a letter to one of the candidates of the General Elections of  2015, that he will not be appointed Prime Minister even if he were to be elected. Thereafter, sacking the General Secretaries of the SLFP and the UPFA, just before the General elections.

President Sirisen’s role is evident , he is there to help Ranil Wickramasing to continue the government with the UNP Agenda, that is whay he brings back Chandrika to politics against Mahinda Rajapakse.

Making Sarath Fonseka a Field Marshal and making him a Minister was purely to  enable him to attack Mahinda Rajapakse and make statements against him in the Parliament. The governments spokesman Rajitha Senaratne is completely out side democratic norms issuing  incorrect statements  thus insulting the media.

Latest news is that of the, “ appointment of Chandrika Kumaratunga as an SLFP organiser for Attanagalla raised even more eyebrows. Kumaratunga had, for all intents and purposes, retired from active politics after serving for eleven years as Sri Lanka’s fourth Executive President. She still serves the party in the capacity of patron”.

This is an obvious choice to have a loud mouthed critic to bash President Mahinda Rajapakse at future political rallies

After Lasantha Wickramatunga was assassinated his friend Sonali Samarasinghe fled the country saying that  her life was under threat. 

Now Anika Wijesuriya who gave evidence before the PCol about the use of an apartment by the family of  the then Finance Minister Ravi Karnanayake, the rent of which had been paid for by one of the accused in the Bond Scam, fled the country as she had been receiving calls threatening her life  by an associate of the former Minister. Strange, formally it was the Armed Forces that were accused for assassinations or threatening lives of  media personnel and now it is ex-Ministers of the Government.

The latest acts of this Dictatorship  is the purge of party organisers in preparation for a forth coming  Local Government elections. Here too the Dictator wants his rival –Mahinda Rajapakse out.

The reaction to the President’s decision has been muted, at least from the mainstream SLFP.

“The only minister to speak out was Labour and Trade Union Relations Minister John Seneviratne. Seneviratne stated that it was sad that some party organisers who had served the party for a long time had been expelled without even giving them reasons for their dismissal”.

In January,2015 the people voted at least 62 percent of them  for a change, and what have they got today- a right Royal Dictator ship.

Are the people satisfied with what they have got ? Haven’t the people fallen from the frying pan  directly into the fire ?

If nothing is done at least by those Members of this Parliament who have  some feeling of affinity  to a man- SWRD Bandaranaike, who knew that UNP would be the end of Sri Lanka, and wanting to save the country from devastation walked away from the UNP and formed  the SLFP to save this country, its Buddhist Culture, its belonging to the teaching of Theravada Buddhism, which had been preserved until today the 19 October,2017.

It may all end up this month if the Parliamentarians will not wake up to the danger that is inherent in the Yahapalanaya Government which is in reality a Sirisena-Ranil Dictatorsip.

If any SLFP members with any affinity to SWRD Bandaranayake’s vision of 1956 are still there in this Parliament they should end this Sirisena-Ranil-Chandrika Dictatorship using the label “ Yahapalanaya” , by not providing a two third majority in the Parliament to allow this government to write a new Constitution to replace the present Constitution of 1978.

We have to Stop Yahapalanaya Government writing a New Constitution to Sri Lanka to please the "four evils"

Yahapalanaya is an empty boast the reality is evident

The  so called Yahapalanaya government which had been deceiving the people of this country ever since Maithripala Sirisena was elected President of Sri Lanka on the 8^th January,2015, has no right what so ever to present a note, a paper or  a draft to the Parliament as a preliminary to the writing of  a new Constitution for Sri Lanka.

Today the people of Sri Lanka are divided as they had never been before. The Tamil terrorists have been eliminated but they have reappeared in another form-“Wigneswaran, TNA and the Tamil Diaspora, and the Western Governments assisting them”-the four evils , to be an important supportive group of the Sirisena Ranil- Yahapalanaya Government to dissolve the Sri Lankan identity.

This Sirisena Ranil government will do any thing , make any sacrifice to retain the support of the “four evils”. The JVP  has become a party to the Yahapalanaya Government’s shameless plan  to change Sri Lanka behind scene into a Federal State according to the desire of the “four  evils”.

Hence to allow the Sirisena Ranil government under these circumstances to write a new Constitution is to make Sri Lanka  a “sacrificial lamb” of this Yahapalanaya Government on the altar of reconciliation to satisfy the Tamils of the TNA, the ultra Tamil Wigneswaran ,  the Tamil diaspora and their supporters the West-“the four evils”

Therefore under no circumstance should the patriots of this great country of the Sinhala Buddhists of Sri Lanka allow this  pseudo Yahapalanaya Government of Sirisena –Ranil to write a new Constitution for Sri Lanka. Kiriella a UNP Minister of this government says that they would give 13 plus and abolish the executive Presidency.

They are manipulating to take away the executive powers from the President to transfer them to the Prime Minister.

The Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe is a stooge of the West and the West wants him to usurp the powers of the President so that they can do what they want with Sri Lanka. In order to keep the President quiet and believe that the West is friendly towards him, the Western Governments even go to the extent of  proposing Maithripala Sirisena for the Nobel Peace Prize.

What has Maithripala Sirisena given to Sri Lanka and to  its people, and to the world  that makes him deserve the Noble Peace Prize ?  

Does  not this suggestion of the west shows their utter hypocrisy to fool the leaders of developing countries to make them subordinate to their pseudo-generosity ?  Or is it for having made things easy for the West led by  USA, by sponsoring their resolution at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, with the support of the UN Human Rights Commissioner condemning the  Sri Lanka Armed Forces that eliminated terrorism for war crimes and establish hybrid courts,  to give back to the Tamils what they  failed to obtain through terrorism ?

Maithripala Sirisena as President of a most unpatriotic government since Independence calling itself Yahapalanaya,  does need a Noble Peace Prize as no government any where in the world has supported  the West led by USA to make a devastating  resolution against its own country, and its own Armed Forces, condemning the country’s legal system and suggesting setting up hybrid courts to try its own  Armed Forces for war crimes.

These UNP yes men to Ranil Wickramasinghe- their leader, even two years after they have taken over the government of Sri Lanka from its visionary leader Mahinda Rajapakse, still use the name of the  President Mahinda Rajapakse to cover up their own sins, and make people believe that they are following  what Mahinda Rajapakse failed to do.  

Minister Kiriella says that the new Constitution may grant 13plus as proposed by Mahinda Rajapakse. They have only the name of President Mahinda Rajapakse to save their skins, but they know that  they  can never get any where near President Mahinda Rajapakse who had the  ability to change a Sri Lanka that was suffering for thirty years under terrorism to  a peaceful secure country with the communities united as Sri Lankans.

The uniqueness of this Yahapalanaya Government is that it has openly allowed corruption and thefts in the Central Bank itself and in the construction of the Central Highway, and though number of its Ministers though accused for bribery, corruption and theft have not been summoned by courts and punishments meted out though the President Mahinda Rajapakse, his kith and kin , Ministers of his Government, and all connected to him continue to be summoned by the  courts and remanded at their pleasure.

The Yahapalanaya Government  swears that the new Constitution has not been written as yet but only the proposals by the five Committees have been presented to the parliament. But the proposals do not give any assurance that they will finally be able to write an acceptable non-federal Constitution.

This government does every thing in stealth hiding facts not only from the people but also from the President Maithripala Sirisena blissfully ignorant of what is going on behind his back.

Even the Supreme Court of the Land is bluffed, changing its verdicts through Parliamentary Bills, and persuading even the JVP to vote with the government to provide a two third majority.

There is no reason why this Sirisena Ranil Yahapalana government should at all write a new Constitution when the 1978 Constitution is an acceptable document which had served its purpose during the most critical period of the recent history of Sri Lanka. Any required Constitutional changes could  easily be made by Constitutional amendments. 

It has become evident that if this Yayapalanaya traitors  would get down to write a new Constitution we will not only loose the unitary status of Sri Lanka but it may also loose its name from Sri Lanka to “OrumiththaNaadu”.

Sinhala Language has  already lost its significant place under Yahapalanaya Regime. These writers of a new Constitution have failed to find an appropriate word in Sinhala to mean “unitary” hence they have used this Tamil word “Orumiththa Nadu” in the Sinhala text of the Constitution, as well as in the English text to the exclusion of the English word Unitary.

There may have  been a reason why the President Mahinda Rajapakse did not remove the 13Amendment. However it has to be removed from the Constitution and retain the executive powers of the President intact. We are still not completely  out of terrorism which may raise its ugly head sooner or later if we let the  Yahapalanaya continue to rule Sri Lanka.

The Present Yahapalanaya government does not take any thing seriously. As they have mismanaged the economy of Sri Lanka they without accepting their disastrous bungling since their taking over the Government of Sri Lanka on the 8^th January,2015, act like a “bull in a glass shop” taking haphazard decisions  to  “patch up” their wrong doings.

 As the Sirisena –Ranil government is now in very critical financial straights, they have begun selling Sri Lanka’s most valued “treasures” such as the unique natural harbour at Trincomalee, 15 thousand acres of prime land  in the South , Mattala Airport , Lankan Air Lines,  and part of the Colombo harbour etc.

The UNP Ministers and now some of the SLFP seniors like Mahinda Samarasinghe, Sarath Amunugama  are bragging that they have done what President Mahinda Rajapakse failed to do, which was to bring Sri Lanka into the fold of the West. But what have they received from their new found friends of the West. Their Western friends  have still not taken up even a single major development project. But they are nevertheless profiting from Sri Lanka’s dive into disaster. It was the same that the West did with the misfortunes of Greece. It is Germany and France that gained from the misfortunes of Greece.

Ranil Wickramasinghe with his Mount Pelerin connection hoped that America would have come to his aid, and even began by insulting China to give the West the signal that he was on their side against China.

But America and the West treated him  just like they treated his uncle J.R.Jayawardana-nicknamed Yankee Dikee, who expected  America and the West –to be his safety net against Indian brutality.

USA and the West will pay glowing tributes to Yahapalanaya for regaining democratic Sri Lanka, and reconciliation with the minorities and taking the Armed Forces before a hybrid court to be tried for war crimes which they believe Sri Lanka Armed Forces  committed in eliminating terrorists. That is all that the Yahapalanaya government will get from the Western friends.

CFA which enabled the terrorists to kill thousands of soldiers and innocent civilians was entered into with the terrorist leader Prabhakaran by PM Ranil Wickramasinghe with the aid of the Norvegian mediator Eric Solheim.  Ranil Wickramasinghe  neither consulted the then President Chandrika Kumaratunga nor the Parliament before he entered into that disastrous CFA.

How can then the people of Sri Lanka trust Ranil Wickramasinghe as the Prime Minister to write a new Constitution which would not finally be in effect  a Federal Constitution ?

What guarantee do the people have that Ranil Wickramasinghe will not be a traitor once again as he did with the CFA ?

The Yahapalanaya Government has no sense of values. They want to make Sri Lanka a Singapore. They want to sacrifice  Buddhism and Sinhala culture for an imagined reconciliation with the Tamils and the Muslims. They of the Yahapalanaya Government ,do not understand that there could never be a real reconciliation with the Tamils unless they give up  their call for  a separate territory for the Tamils and agree to live with all Communities.

Though the Yahapalanaya Government asserts that in the new Constitution nothing would be changed viz à viz the primary place given to Buddhism as in the previous Constitutions,  when in the new draft of the Constitution it is said that Buddhism will be given its rightful place and adds that the other religions will also have an equal place.

The President may be able to fool the Mahanayake Theros with a promise of special place to Buddhism and  the protection it deserves, but the people cannot be fooled by the reality of what is being done behind their backs.

The reconciliation with the Tamils is a farce since the defeat of terrorists. It is not the Sinhala that should move towards Tamils,  but it is the Tamils who should  come to the Sinhala to assure their sincerity to reconcile with the Communities. As it is the Yahapalanaya exercise  of reconciliation is a complete handover of North and East to Tamils with even the right to decide how they are to govern themselves without the interference of the Central Government.

There is no necessity to write a new Constitution to Sri Lanka. The Present  Constitution of Sri Lanka should  continue retaining all  the elements of the first Constitution prepared by the British when they granted Independence to Sri Lanka. Any Country’s Constitution is written by the Majority Community safeguarding its religious and cultural identity . 

It is more so with regard to Sri Lanka with its unique 2600 year old Buddhist tradition and Buddhist Culture  which is the identity itself  of Sri Lanka.

In no country has the minorities of the Country consulted in the writing of  a Constitution. But the Majority Community allows the minorities the right to religious worship and maintain their cultural identities,  allowing them to enjoy all the rights and priviledges of the  majority community, without discrimination. 

It is for the minorities to accept the Constitution as theirs, as they are accepted as the people of this country.

The Constitution protects the territoriality of Sri Lanka, therefore the Muslims should not be allowed to clear forests and open unauthorised Muslim settlements where ever they want. And the Tamils should not be allowed to  attack  Buddhist Temples  or destroy Buddhist Statues anywhere in the Island, nor allow them to chase away the Sinhala from occupying their lands and property any where in the Island be in the North, East, South or the West.
