Is Chief Minister of NPC- C.V.Wigneswaran preparing the ground for another Racial Riot, with intention to call for foreign intervention?

Sri Lanka Yahapalanaya Government is doing every thing the way USA and the West want  it to do.  And our President Maithripala Sirisena is naïve to believe that his being praised  by the West, shaking hands with Western Leaders or posing for photographs with the President Barrack Obama and the American First Lady are marks of approval of Yahapalanaya Government by the Western Countries.

It may be so as there is no country in the world so shamelessly subjugating itself to the Western Political Leaders. There is also no respectable country in the world which writes the Constitution of the country with the minority partnership.  There is no country in the world  which  does everything to reconcile with the Tamil Community which contribute nothing for the protection, security or welfare of the country

The Tamils in Sri Lanka  do not want  to integrate into  the Sri Lankan Society.  They want to be separate from the rest of the people of Sri Lanka. The political and social problems Sri Lanka is faced with today is this refusal of the Tamils to be a part of the larger community of Sri Lankans.  Tamils do not want reconciliation , they want equal rights with the Sinhala and a separate Tamil Eelam in the North and East.  Why cannot the Yahapalanaya  crowd cannot understand it ?

The Tamils  do not want to be second class Citizens-as they say,  but want equal rights with the Sinhala people of the country.  But this Tamil Community seeking equal rights with the Sri Lanka has not contributed positively in any way for its protection and development.  They came to Sri Lanka as plunderers, marauders and invaders and even today remain separately taking the best of what they can from Sri Lanka, always demanding more and giving nothing in return for its welfare or security (except a handful of them).

A Nation is identified by its culture. The culture is invariably related to the religion or the belief system of that nation.  There are conquests, incursions or immigration into a nation state which introduces other cultures and belief system  by force in case of conquests, but the original culture of  the nation state by which it is recognised remains intact, even with the introduction of new cultures into its.  However, these  other cultures or belief systems introduced into the nation state  cannot remain completely isolated without being influenced  by certain aspects of other cultures and religions that have come  into its midst.

However the  main culture and the belief system of that nation state will remain protected,  accepted as its identifying culture. That would be its primary identity with other culture coexisting without putting into danger the original culture with which  the nation State is identified.  This is what happens with great nations of the world having a history of more than  thousand or more years.

Applying this to Sri Lanka it should be correctly  identified as a Sinhala Buddhist nation. The other cultures in the country like Christianity of the Western Culture which was forced into it,  Hindu and Islamic cultures  came into the country through incursions, and immigration. But all these cultures coexist within the Sinhala Buddhist Culture. The constitution accepts these cultures foreign to Sri Lanka ,laying down the methodology of their  functioning.  But the constitution cannot be adjusted to enable reconciliation with communities, because it is the communities that should adopt and accept the Constitution of the Nation State.

If that is how it is,  then it could be the Sabyathva Rajya, recently stated by Gunadasa Amarasekara in his new book.

Democracy is of course a foreign invention introduced to our country by the British. Once it has been accepted into the political system democracy  has to be correctly understood.  Once accepted and introduced it covers  all political activities of  the Nation State composed of the communities that make up the Nation with its original people of the culture with which Sri Lanka is identified.

But democracy cannot be a reason to change the Constitution to give special privileges to minority communities.  That would be a mutilation of democracy.  The Democratic system is to accept the voice of the majority, not to accept  views  and demands of the minority to put in danger the accepted  majority point of view, if not it would be anarchy.  Even in an election it is the one who gets the majority(highest) number of votes that wins the election.

But it is an aberration of this concept to accept the proposal suggested by TNA Parliamentarian Sumanthiran in a recent  Derana TV Programme  Aluth Paralimenthuvak, that a new constitution should be written removing the 9^th Article with protects Buddhism as the foremost religion as it provides a special privilege  to the Sinhala Community, which is denied to other communities.

He argues that the Tamils had not been given their rightful place since independence, being treated as second class citizens. What else are they as pointed out earlier, they are a minority Community, but not second class citizens as they say.

TNA MP Sumanthiran further denies Mahavansa as a  historical record of the Sinhala (which was agreed  by a man who calls himself a specialist in History of Sri Lanka-a professor of history Nirmal Ranjith Dewasiri, who said that Mahavansa as a historical record is controversial. These are University Professors who have passed their  exams on book knowledge unable to think beyond what they have learnt from books  written by western writers. That is one reason why there should be a radical change in the university education system in Sri Lanka).

According to C.V.Wignesvaran the Chief Minister of the Northern  Provincial Council,  North and East should be exclusively Tamil Provinces and the new Constitution should be a Federal constitution in which the rights of the Tamil people are expressly stated. That would be a far  cry  from Sabyathva Rajya- or democracy.

Strangely the Yahapalana leadership seems not  averse to these suggestions of the TNA. Undoubtedly the Yahapalanaya Goverrnment  has an agreement with the TNA to accept their version of democracy.

These TNA MPs  and Wignesvaren led Tamils who are not satisfied being a minority but would like to have equal rights with the Sinhala Buddhists should know a little more of the place the Sinhala Buddhists have in Sri Lanka since the inception of the Sinhala Buddhist culture.

The Sinhala became a Buddhist nations after the arrival of Venerable Arahath  Mahinda Maha thero . Then there were no Tamils or Muslims. The King Devenampiatissa offered whole of Sri Lanka to Buddha sasana in the Presence of the venerable Arahath Mahinda Maha thero.  Since then the Sinhala people protected this land from foreign invaders, giving their life and blood in the defence of Sri Lanka their country. Tamils came as invaders, plunderers, marauders. They were chased away by the valiant Sinhala Buddhists.

However, later on a Cholan   King Elara set up a kingdom in Anuradhapura from 202 BC to 161 BC. He reined for a long time as he had accepted to rein over the  people in a way appropriate to the teachings of the Buddha. He had developed compassion towards those he ruled extending the same compassion even to animals.

The Northern Province Chief Minister Wigneswaran organised a well attended  demonstration in Jaffna against settlement of Sinhala people in North and East. The report announcing the demonstration  read, “ Northern Province Chief Minister C.V.Wigneswarana has urged Tamil people to participate in a demonstration  scheduled in Jaffna tomorrow, to oppose the systematic settlement of Sinhalese people in the Tamil dominated regions and the erection of Buddhist statues in an area devoid of Buddhist Devotees. “

Didn’t this stupid man Wigneswaran a one time Judge think for a moment that these demonstrations, may be  a deliberate triggering off of racial riots? The Sinhala in the South  not taking these demonstrations lightly  may want to rise against the Tamils reawakening hatred that compelled riots of the past.  

The Yahapalanaya lulled into a false sense of security  removing  Army Camps in the north and east, distributing lands in the north  back to the Tamils hopes that it may help to reconcile with the Tamils.

The President Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe and the Yahapalanaya Government refuse to understand the reality that the Tamils refuse  reconciliation, because the Tamils want a Tamil Eelam- Tamil only provinces in the North and East and nothing less.  That is why they do not want Sinhala settled in the North and East and destroy Buddhist statues. Tamils are provoking the Sinhala Buddhists in the south  for a backlash,  with another racial riot. 

If there were to be a back lash, it would help the Tamil politicians in the North and the East to call for foreign intervention.  There are lot of trigger-happy Americans ready to descend at the first call. Amnesty International , Human Rights Watch  which did not speak a word when Libya, Iraq or Syria were bombed to heaps of rubble, will not fail to call for  the intervention of International community in Sri Lanka.

This is where the Yahapalanaya Government has brought Sri Lanka. The so called Western friends of Maithripala Sirisena who heaped him with commendations and appreciation  will not fail to intervene to defend the Tamils. They are already demanding the North and East be free of Army Camps.

In the mean time the election commissioner too is being very helpful( to Yahapalanaya), in case of another election that the Tamil votes will increase in the North and east. He says he will allow voting rights to the Tamils still remaining in refugee camps.  In the mean time the number of returnees from refugee camps in India has increased.  They will also be given their voting rights. All in all the Tamil votes to the Yahapalanaya Government may ensure their re election. It was the Tamil and Muslim votes that allowed Maithripala Sirisena an edge over the other Presidential Candidate Mahinda Rajapakse on the 8^th January,2015.

If Sri Lanka is to be saved from falling into an unrecoverable abyss, the Sinhala Buddhists have to unite as one behind a leader who can save Sri Lankafrom looming disaster, and  from the grip of unhelpful friends and released to  real friends who will help develop Sri Lanka and protect it from political vultures of the West.

It is time that the Yahapalanaya Government wakes up from its lull into false sense of security and arrest the NPC Chief Minister Wigneswaran for inciting people to racial disharmony and riots. Yahapalanaya Government  should also stop further distribution of land in the North and East to Tamils and strengthen Security.  They should also arrest all those who were responsible for the destruction of Buddha Statues in the North, and threaten the Sinhala people already settled in the area.        

සිංහලයිනි නැගිටිව්

මේ කටත් ඇරගෙන ගොබ්බය වගේ බන්කිමූන්ට වශී වෙලා ඉන්නේ  කව්දැයි  දන්නවද ?

සිංහලයෝ නිදි.

යහපාලනයක් කියා ආන්ඩුවක් හදාගෙන මේ හැත්තක් ලංකාවට කරන විනාශය නතර කරන්න සිංහලයන් දැන්වත් අවදිවිය යුතුයි.  මම දන්නවා සිංහල ඉස්කෝල ගුරුවරුන්  රුපියල් දහදාහකින් පඩි වැඩිකරනවා කියල ඇතිවුණු තන්හාවට සතාට කතිරෙගහන්න කියා කියා උන් උන් අතර කතා කරගත්තා. ඒ වගේ  කරලා දිනවපු ආණ්ඩුව අද කොහාටද අපේ රට ගෙනියන්නේ. රටේ දියුනුවටකියල බෝක්කුවක්වත් හදලානැති  යහපාලනය කරන එකමදේ රාජපක්ෂලා පොලිසියට ගෙනියන එකයි තවත් අය බ්‍රය්බරි කොමිසමට ගෙනයනැ එකයි .

මේකද මුන්ගේ යහපාලනය. රනිල් වික්රමසින්හ කියනවා ලෝකේ දියුනුරටවල් එක්ක ලංකාව යාලුයිලු. එහෙනම් මොකද ලංකාවට විරුද්ධව ජිනීවා  යෝජනාව අහක්කරගෙන නැත්තේ.  දියු නුවෙට්චි රටවල් යහළුකරගන්න මේ හැත්ත කරන්නේ උන්කියන හැමදේටම  හා කියන එක නේද ?.

ඊයේ පෙරේද බැන්කිමූන්  එක්සත්ජාතීන්ගේ මහලේකම් ඇවිත් ගියා.   ඒකට යුඇන්පී කාරයින්ගේ සතුට ඉහවහ ගිහිල්ලා. ඊටත් වඩා සතුටින් ඉන්නේ  මහින්ද සමරසින්හ. මොකක් හරි තනතුරක් බලා පොරොත්තුවෙන් එයා තමා සිරිසෙනට දැන් වැඩියක්ම පන්දන් අල්ලන්නේ.හැමෝටම ඇහෙන්න බැන්කිමූන්  කිව්ව රුවන්ඩාවෙ  හා සර්බියාවේ  මනුස්සගාතන සිදු උනා ඒවා නතර කිරීමට  එක්සත්ජාතින්ට මැදිහැත්වීමට බැරි උනා  ලංකාවෙත් සිදුවීතිබෙන එවැනි  මනුස්සගාතන නවත්තා ගන්න පුළුවන්කම  තිබුණා  නමුත්  එක්සත්ජාතින්ට නැවතත් රුවන්ඩාව සර්බියාව මෙන්ම ලංකවෙදීත්  මැදිහැත්වීමට බැරි උනා කියලා. ලංකාව මෙවැනි ම්ලේච්ච රටක් වශයෙන් ලෝකයට පෙන්වාදෙන උත්සාහයක යෙදුනු බැන්කිමූන්ට් ආවඩන මේ යහපාලන හැත්ත අපේ රට කුමන තැනකටද  ඇද දමන්න හදන්නේ ?

සිංහලයිනි මෙවැනි රට අගාදියට ඇදදමන යහපාලන ආණ්ඩුවකට තවත් මේ රට කරවන්නට ඉඩදී නොහඩව සිටිය හැකිද ?       

නමුත් මහින්ද සමරසින්හ කියනවා එහෙම  දෙයක් බැන්කිමූන්  කීවේ නැ වෙලාතියෙන්නේ වැරදි තෙරුම් ගැනීමක් කියල. හර්ශ දසිල්වා ත් කියන්නේ බැන්කිමූන් ලංකාවට වරදක්වන දෙයක් කීවෙනෑ නමුත් ඔහු ලංකාවට ලෝකයෙ ප්‍රසන්ෂාව දිනාගන්න හැකිවිධියේ කතාවක් කලයි කියල. ඒ එක්කම කරුණාරත්න පරණවිතාරනත් කියනවා  බන්කිමූන් එහෙමදෙයක් කීවේ නැකියල. එක්කෝ මුන්ට් ඉංග්‍රීසි තේරෙන්නේ නැ  නැත්නම් අමුබීවා වගේ බන්කිමූන් ගොත ගහගහ කීව කථාවට වශී වෙලා ඉන්න ඇති.

මේ යහපාලන හැත්තට වෙලාතියෙන්නේ උන්ගේ බටහිරින් එන හැම එකාටම ගැති මානසික තත්වයේ වෙනසක් වෙලා නැති එකයි. බැන්කිමූන්ට ලංකාවෙන් තේ  එකක්වත් දෙන්න සුදුසු මිනිහෙක්නොවෙයි. මේ මිනිහා  කලින් එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ මහකොමසාරිස් දෙමළ ත්‍රස්ත වාදින්කෙරෙහි මහා අනුකම්පාවෙන් යුතුව කටයුතුකල නවි පිල්ලේ ගේ හිතවතෙක් දරුස්මාන් කොමිසමේ  එක සමාජිකාවක්වූ  යස්මින් සුකා නවි පිල්ලේ සමග  දකුණු අප්‍රිකාවේ එකම උසාවියේ වැඩකළ නඩුකාරවරු. ඔවුන් හොඳ  මිතුරියෝ.

මෙවුන් ප්‍රභාකරන් ත්‍රස්තවාදියාට නොහැකිවූ ලංකාව දෙකඩ කිරීමේ කාර්ය නිමකිරීමට බැදී සිටින දෙමළ  දයස්පොරාවට සම්බන්ධ  විදේශීය දෙමළුන්.  මේ දෙමළ ඩයස්පෝරාවේ ඕනෑ විධියටයි අමෙරිකාවත් යුරෝපීය රටවලුත් බන්කිමූන් ගේ එක්සත් ජාතික සංවිධානයත් කටයුතු කරන්නේ. මේක අමතකකරන්න එපා . කලින් ඇමෙරිකාව හා බටහිර රටවල් දෙමළ ඩයස්පෝරාව කියනහැටියට ලංකාව දෙකඩකර උතුරේ ඊලාම් රාජ්‍යයක්  සැදීමට සිරිසේන රනිල් චන්ද්‍රිකා සමරවීර උපයෝගිකරගන්න වායයි කීවාම බොරු බිල්ලොමවනවා කීවා. නමුත් දැන්වෙනදෙවල් හොඳට හිතාබැලුවොත් ඇත්ත පෙනේවි. තාමත් නොපෙනේනම් සිංහලයෝ තාම නින්දේ ?

යහපාලනය ගැත්තෝ ආණ්ඩුවක් හදාගෙන මොකද කරන්නේ ?

ඔවුන් කරන්න හදන්නේ ලංකාවේ දේශපාලන ප්‍රතිරූපය සම්පුර්නයෙන්ම වෙනස්කරන්න. ඒකට සමාන්තරව තමයි උතුරේ යුදකදවුරු අහක්කරලා ඉඩම් දෙමළ වැසියන්ට ආපහුදෙන්නේ. ඉන්දියාව සම්බන්ධකරගෙන එට්කා ගිවිසුම අත්සන්කර තමිල්නාදුවත් ලංකාවත් සම්බන්ධ කරන හනුමන් පාලම හදන්නේද මේ ලංකීක දේශපාලන ප්‍රතිරූපය වෙනස්කිරීමේ සැලස්මේ කොටසක් වශයෙනි.

ඔවුන් එයින් නවතින්නේ නැ. හදිසියේ කරන තවත් වැඩසටහනක් තියෙනවා ඒක තමා  අලුත් ව්‍යවස්තාවක් සෑදීම. ජයම්පතී වික්රමරත්න කියල නීතීඥ වරයෙක් ලවා එහි මුලික කටයුතු කරගෙන යනවා. ඔහු කියන  හැටියට බහුතරයක් ජනතාව සම්බන්ධ කරගේනලු ව්‍යවස්ථාව සස්කරන්නේ . නමුත් ලංකාවේ මිනිසුන්ගෙන් ඇහුවොත් කියයි කීදෙනෙක් ජයම්පතී වික්රමරත්න සමග  අලුත් ව්‍යවස්ථාවක් පිළිබඳව කථාකලාද  කියලා.

නමුත් ඇමෙරිකාවේ තානාපතිවරයා මෑතකදී කීවා ලංකාවේ අලුත් ව්‍යවස්ථාව ලියන්න අමෙරිකාවත් සම්බන්ධවෙනවා කියලා. උතුරේ මහා ඇමති විග්නේස්වරන් කියනවා දෙමලමිනුසුන්ගේ ඕනේ එපාකම් අඩංගු ෆෙඩරල් ක්‍රමයට බර ව්‍යවස්ථාවක් සකස්කලයුතුලු. ටිඑන්ඒ මන්ත්‍රී සුමන්දිරන් කියනවා දෙමළ ජාතිකයෝ රටේ දෙවන රටවැසිකොටසක් හැටියට සැළකීම නතරකර සිංහලයන්ට ව්‍යවස්තාවේ දීතිබෙන විශේෂ තැන නැතිකර හැමජාතිකොටසකටම සමතැනක් දිය යුතුනිසා දැන් ව්‍යවස්ථාවේ 9වෙනි වගන්තිය සම්පුර්ණයෙන්ම අස්කලයුතුලු. (දෙරන අලුත් පාර්ලිමෙන්තුවක් නම් 7.9. 16 වනදින වැඩසටහන බලන්න ).  

9වන වගන්තියේ තියෙන්නේ  බෞද්ධාගමට ප්‍රධානතැන දිය යුතු අතර බුද්ධසාසනය රැකබලා ගැනීම රජයේ යුතුකම විය යුතු අතර අනිත් ආගම්වලට 10 හා 14 වගන්තිවලින් දී තිබෙන අයිතිවාසිකම්ද සහතික කලයුතුබවයි.

බෞද්ධ සිංහලයිනි අවදිවව්. මේ මගඩි  යහපාලනය කොහේ යන්නේදැයි බලා සිටිව්. දැනටවත්  මේ යහපාලනය යන ගමන හරි නැති බව වැටහෙනවාද ?

ලංකාවේ දෙම්ළ සංහාරයක් සිදුඋනායයි කියන බන්කිමුන් තමා දරුස්මාන් රපොර්තුව සකස්කරවාගත්තේ . එතකොට බන්කිමූන් කීවේ දරුස්මාන් රපොර්තුව ඔහුගේ උවමනාවට පිලියෙලකරගත් පුද්ගලික වාර්තාවක් නිසා එය එක්සත්ජාතීන්ගේ නිල රපොර්තුවක් නොවන බවයි. නමුත් නවි පිල්ලේ එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ මානව අයිති පිලිබඳ කොමසාරිස් වශයෙන් පත්කළාට පසුව ඇය මෙ දරුස්මාන් රපොර්තුව ජිනීවාහී  මානවහිමිකම් කෞන්සිලයට ඉදිරිපත්කලා. ඊට පසුව එය එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ නිල වාර්තාවක්  වශයෙන් පිළිගෙන තියෙනවා.

මේ දරුස්මාන් වාර්තාවේ ලංකාව දෙකඩකර දෙමළ ඊලාමයක් සෑදීම සඳහා අවශ්‍ය අඩිතාලම තබන්න පුළුවන් කරුණු තිබෙනවා. බන්කිමුන්ගේ දෙමළසංහාර කතාවත් මෙයට සම්බන්ධයි.

මේ විදේශිකයන්ට  පුලුවන්නම් ලංකාවේ සිංහල මහජාතිය දෙමලජනතාවට විරුද්ධ බවත්  එක එක සිංහල රජයන් විසින් දෙමළ ජනතා සංහාරයන් කර තිබෙනබවත් පෙන්වන්න  (වීග්නෙස්වරං කියලා තියෙනවා 1948 ඉඳන් දෙමළ සංහාරයන් පැවතී බවක් ), උන්ට පුළුවන් ඒ නිසා දෙමළ ජනතාවට වෙනම රාජ්‍යයක් නැත්නම්  ඊලාමයක් දීම යුක්තිසහගතබව.

මේක ගොනිබිල්ලෙක් මැවීමක් නොවේ.  උනයින් පස්සේ නොවෙයි දැන් මොකක්ද කරන්නේ  කියල හිතන්ට තියෙන්නේ, නමුත් දැනුයි මේ වෙන්ටයන විනාශය ගැන හිතන්ට තියෙන්නේ.

දරුස්මාන් කමිටු වාර්තාව  කිසිසේත්ම නීතියෙන් පිලිගන්නපුලුවන් වාර්තාවක් නොවෙයි. කවරෙක් හෝ  මේ වාර්තාවට විරුද්ධව සුප්‍රීම් උසාවියට යා යුතුයයි මම හිතනවා. ඉන්දුනීසියාවේ මර්සුකි දරුස්මන් කොමිට්යේ නායකයා වශයෙන්ද දකුණු අප්‍රිකාවේ යස්මින් සුකා හා ඇමෙරිකානු ස්ටීවන් රැට්නර් කොමිටියේ සාමාජිකයන්වශයෙන්ද එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ සංවිධානයේ  කාර්යාල කාමරයක්තුල රැස්වී දරුස්මන් වාර්තාව සකස්කලා.

මොවුන් මේ වාර්තාව හදන්න ඉස්සෙල්ලා හෝ පස්සේ  ලංකාවට ආවේ නැ. ඉතින් කොහොමද ලංකාවට එතරම් විනාශකාරී  රපොර්තුවක් පිලියෙලකලේ.

මොවුන් පළමුව ලංකාවේ යුද්දකාලයේදී සිදුවූ  අක්‍රමිකතා මීනිස් ඝාතන පිලිබඳ තොරතුරුදන්නා අයට පැමිණ සාක්ෂී දෙන්න ආරාධනා කළා. නමුත් සාක්ෂී කරුවන් නොපැමිනිනිසා  පෝර්මයක්  සකස්කරැ අන්තර්ජාලයට දැම්මා පෝර්මය පිටපත්කරගෙන  තමන්  දන්නා තොරතුරු එහි ලියා දරුස්මාන්  කොමිටිය වෙත එවන්න කියා.  ඊටපසු තොරතුරු සඳහන් මේ පෝරම දහස්ගනනනින් ගලා එන්ට පටන්ගත්තා. මේ පෝර්ම සඳහන් තොරුතුරු  රැස්කරගෙනයි දරුස්මාන් වාර්තාව සකස්කළේ.

ඒ පෝරමවල  තොරතුරූ ලියා  අත්සන් කර තිබුනත්  එව්වා එව්වෙ කවුදැයි නිශ්චයවශයෙන් දැනගැනීමට පිළිවෙලක් තිබුනේ නැත. ලංකාවට අඩියක්වත් නොතැබූ දයස්පොරාවෙ දෙමළ ජාතිකයන් එක්කෙනා පෝර්ම ගණනාවක් එවන්න ඇති. ඒ කියන්නේ මේ දරුස්මාන් වාර්තාව පිලියෙලකර තිබෙන්නේ පොර්මවල ලියා තිබුණ බොරු තොර තෝරු එක්කාසුකරගෙන.

මේ තොරතුරුවල  අසත්‍ය භාවය  හන්ගවාගන්නට දරුස්මාන් වාර්තාව සඳහන් කරනවා  වාර්තාව සඳහා තොරතුර දුන් සාක්ෂිකරුවන්ගේ  නම් ගම්  අවුරුදු 20 ක් රහසිගතව තබාගන්නවා කියලා.  එතැනින්ම මේ වාර්තාවේ නීතියෙන් පිළිගත නොහැකි වාර්තාවක් බවට පත්වුවා. යම් කිසිකෙනෙක් තවත් කෙනෙකුට විරුද්ධ සාක්ෂියක් දුන්නොත් එම සාක්ෂියයෙ සත්‍ය අසත්‍ය සොයන්න සාක්ෂිකරුවාගෙන් හරස් ප්‍රශ්න ඇසීමක් කලයුතුයි. නැත්නම් එම සාක්ෂිය නීතියෙන් පිළිගන්නේ  නැ.

නමුත් මේ දරුස්මාන් වාර්තාවමයි එක්සත්ජාතීන්ගේ මානව අයිතීන් පිලිබඳ කොමසාරිස් සයිඩ් කුමාරයා ඔහුගේ වාර්තාවටත්  ඇතුලත්කලේ. මේ නීතියෙන් පිළිගත නොහැකි  වාර්තාව මයි  ඇමෙරිකාව ලංකාවට විරුද්ධ ජිනීවා යෝජනාව සකස්කිරීමට යොදාගත්තේ. 

ඒ යෝජනාවමයි  යහපාලනයේ විදේශීය කටයුතු පිලිබඳ අමාත්‍ය මංගල සමරවීර ජිනීවා  මානව හිමිකම් කෞන්සලයේදී ඇමෙරිකාවට මෙහෙමයෝජනාවක් ගෙනැ ඒම ගැන ලංකාව වෙනුවෙන් ඔහුගේ  ප්‍රෂන්ශාව කරුණාවෙන් පිළිගන්වමින් අපි මේ යෝජනාවට සම්පුර්ණයෙන් එකඟයි  ලන්කාවවෙනුවෙන් මමත් ලංකාවට විරුද්ධ මේ යෝජනාව ගෙන එනවා කියල ප්‍රකාශකලේ. මේ යෝජනාවට විරුද්ධව සිටි  චීනය හා රුසියාවත් පුදුමවෙලා යහපාලන ලංකාවෙන් ඈති උනා.

ඇමෙරිකාවට මේ යෝජනාව ගෙනෙන්න අවශ්‍ය උනේ  දරුස්මාන්වාර්තාවේ තියෙන ත්රුස්තවාදීන්ට විරුද්ධ යුද්ධයෙ අන්තිම භාගයේදී 40 000 ක් දෙමළ සිවිල් ජනතාව මැරුවායයි සඳහන් කරතිබීමයි. මේ තරම් විශාල දෙමළ ජනයා මළ බවට ඔප්පුකලහැකි වාර්තා නැත. ලංකා දෙමළ ගුරුවරුන්ගේ සංගමය  මරණ සංක්‍යාව  7472 වශයෙන්ද, එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ දේශීය කාන්ඩායම මරණ සංක්‍යාව  7721 වශයෙන්ද  ඇම්නස්ටි ඉන්ටනැෂනල් මරණ සංක්‍යාව 10000 වියහැකියි පවසද්දී දරුස්මාන්වාර්තාවේ මරණ සංක්‍යාව 40 000 ක් වන්නේ කොහොමද?

මෙම මරණ සංක්‍යාවෙ අවශ්‍යතාවයක් එක්සත් ජාතින්ටත්  ඇමෙරිකාව ඇතුළු බටහිර රටවලටත් දෙමළ දයස්පොරාවටත් තියෙනවා. මරණ සංක්‍යාව 25000 කට වැඩිනම්  එය මිනිස්ඝාතනයක් හැටියට සලකන්න පුළුවන්. මේක තමයි මොවුන් ගේ  ලංකාව දෙකඩකිරීමේ මර උගුලේ අවශ්‍යතම සාධකය.

දැන් මොවුන්  ශ්‍රී ලංකාව හෙමිහීට හෙමිහීට ගෙන යන්නේ යහපාලන හැත්ත අතකොලුවක්කරගෙන ලංකාව දෙකට බෙදන්නයි. ලගදිගෙනා අතුරුදහන් වූවන්ගේ  පනත ද  මේ කාර්ය ඉටුකරගැනීමේ තවත් පියවරකි.

මේ පනත පිළිබඳව මානව හිමිකම් පිළිබඳ නීතිවේදී සංවිධානයේ විධායක අධ්‍යක්‌ෂ
නීතිඥ කල්‍යානන්ද තිරාණගම මහතා මෙසේ පවසයි,

« මේ පනතෙ අඩංගු වගන්ති දෙස බලන විට මෙබඳු භයානක පනතක්‌ අපේ රටේ ඉතිහාසයේ මීට පෙර සම්මත වෙලා නෑ. අතුරුදන් වූවන්ගේ කාර්යාලයට ලබා දී ඇති බලතල දෙස පමණක්‌ බැලුවත් මෙයින් රටේ නීතියට හා ආරක්‌ෂාවට ඇතිකරන තර්ජනය වටහාගන්න පුළුවන්.

විදේශයක සිට සාක්‌ෂි දෙන පුද්ගලයකු මෙරටට නොගෙන්වා අන්තර්ජාලය ඔස්‌සේ වීඩියෝ දර්ශන මගින් දෙන සාක්‌ෂි භාරගැනීමටත් මේ කාර්යාලයට බලතල තිබෙනවා. මුහුණ වසාගෙන වුවත් සාක්‌ෂි දෙන්න පුළුවන්. අපේ රටේ නීතිය අනුව වගඋත්තරකරුවකු හමුදාවේ හෝ පොලිසියේ නිලධාරියෙකුට දුන් කටඋත්තරයක්‌ ඔහුට එරෙහි සාක්‌ෂියක්‌ ලෙස ඉදිරිපත් කරන්න බෑ. නමුත් මේ කාර්යාලයට අවශ්‍ය නම් චූදිතයෙක්‌ ඔවුන්ට දුන් කටඋත්තරයක්‌ එම චූදිතයාට එරෙහිව සාක්‌ෂියක්‌ ලෙස ඉදිරිපත් කිරීමේ බලතල ලබාදී තිබෙනවා. අපේ රටේ නීතිය අනුව ප්‍රවාද සාක්‌කි එනම් මට මේක අහවලා කිව්ව. ඔහුට කියල තියෙන්නෙ අහවලා ආදී වශයෙන් දෙන සාක්‌ෂි අපේ උසාවිය පිළිගන්නෙ නෑ. නමුත් මේ කාර්යාලයට ඒ බලතලත් දීල තියෙනව. ඇත්තවශයෙන්ම මේ කාර්යාලය පිහිටුවා තිබෙන්නේ නැති සාක්‌කි හදන්න. මේක සාක්‌කි නිෂ්පාදනාගාරයක්‌. 

එපමණකුත් නෙමෙයි, අතුරුදන්වුණා යෑයි පැමිණිලි කළ කෙනෙක්‌ වෙනත් රටක සැඟවී සිට හෝ හමුවුණොත් දිගටම ඔහුට සැඟවී සිටීමට අවශ්‍ය නම් ඒ සඳහාත් පහසුකම් සපයන්න මේ කාර්යාලයට බලතල තිබෙනවා. මේ කාර්යාලය පිහිටෙව්වේ කාට දඬුවම් කරන්නද යන්න ඒ අනුව ඉතා පැහැදිලියි. »

තවත් දේ කිව යුතුව තිබෙන නමුත්  මෙම ලිපිය මීට වඩා දිග නොකරන්න  අවස්තාවක් ලැබුනොත් තවත් ලිපියක් ලියන බලාපොරොත්තුවෙන් මින් නවතිමි

රාජපක්ස ගෙන් පලිගන්න ගිහින් රට අගාදියට ඇද දමන සිරිසේන, රනිල්, චන්ද්‍රිකා කල්ලිය.

ගුත්තිල පඬිතුමා  මුසිල නම් බාලයෙකුට විනා වැයීම උගන්වා ඔහුට රජ මාලිගාවේ සන්ගීතගායන පදවිය  ලබා දුන්නාට  පසු කෙලෙහිගුණ නොදත් මූසිලයා මහලුවියට පත් ගුත්තිල පඬිතුමා පරදවා එතුමාගේ තැන ගන්න ගුත්තිල පඬිතුමාට සංගීත  තරඟයකට පැමිනෙනලෙස ආරාධනය කලා.  එදා මහලුවියේ සිටි ගුත්තිල පඬිතුමා සංගීත තරඟයකට කෙසේනම් මුහුනදෙන්නේදැයි නොදැන අසරණව සිටියේ. නමුත් එදා ඒ තරඟය පටන්ගැන්මේදී  මුසිලයා ඔහුගේ ජයග්‍රහණය ගැන සැකයක් නැතිව  මහා ආඩම්බරයෙන් විනාව වාදනයකලා. පින්වත් ගුත්තිල පඬිතුමා ගේ  අසරණභාවය දුටු ලෝක භාර දෙවිවරු එතුමාගේ සහයට පැමිණ මුසිලයට උන්හිටි තැනක් නැතිවනතරමට අන්ත පරාජයක් අත්කරදුන්නා.

අද අප ඉදිරියේ සිටින්නේත් එවැනිම කෙලෙහිගුණ නොදත් අමන මූසලයෙක්. මූටත් එදා මූසීලයාට ලැබුණ පරාජයටත් වඩා  අන්ත පරාජයක් උටත් උගේ හත්මුතුපරම්පරාවටත් අත්වනවා නියමයි. එහෙම කියනඑක නරකයි. නමුත් කරනදෙවල් බලබලා  නොකියා හිටින්න විධියකුත් නැ.

මේ කල්ලිය රටගැන හිතන්නේ නැ. සංහිදියාව කියා කියා දෙමළුන් ඉල්ලන හැම දේම දෙනවා. සිංහලයන්ට අද පුලුවන්කමක්නෑ තමන්ගේ ජාතිය වෙනුවෙන් කතාකරන්න, ජාතිවාදියෝ කියල හන්වඩු ගහනවා.

අද ලංකාවේ සමන්‍යය ජනතාවට ඔවුන්ගේ සන්ස්කෘතික සමාජයික හා ආගමික  අයිතීන් පවා නැතිවියනවා. උතුරේ හා නැගෙනහිර බෞද්ධ දාගැබ්  බූදුපිලිම අයිතිහාසික බෞද්ධ නෂ්ටාවශේෂ විනාස කරනවා. ලාංකික සිංහලයෝ මහා දෙමළ ප්‍රහාරයකට මුහුනදිසිටිනවා.

මැලේසියාවේදී එහි ජීවත්වෙන දෙමළුන්  අපේ හිටපු ජනාධිපති තුමාට විරුද්ධ පෙළපාලි පවත්වා ඔහුගේ  රුකඩයකට සපත්තුවලින්  ගසමින් අවමන්කර පුච්චා දැමුවා   මැලේසියාවේ පන්සලක බෞද්ධ භික්ෂුන් වහන්සේකෙනෙකුට අතවරකලා. ඉන්දියාවේ සිටින ලාංකික දෙමළුන්  සිය ගණනනින් ලංකාවට එනවා. නමුත් උතුරෙන් හා නැගෙනහිරින් ත්‍රෂ්තවාදීන් විසින්  පලවා හරින ලද සිංහලයන්ට ආපුසු ගිහින් පදින්චි වන්න දෙමළුන් ඉඩදෙන්නේ නැ. කරුනුමෙසේවෙතත් යහපාලන කල්ලිය  මේ කිසිවක් ගණන්ගන්නේ නැතිව  සංහිදියාව වෙනුවෙන් කියා කියා දෙමලුන්ට තව තවත් වරප්‍රසාද දෙනවා. 

මොකක්ද මේ සංහිඳියාව ? දෙමලුයි මුසලිම් කාරයොයි  හිතා ගෙන ඉන්නේ සංහිඳියාව වෙනුවෙන් හැමදෙයක්ම කලයුත්තේ  සින්හලුන් පමනක් කියලද ? ඒ සඳහා ඔවුන් විසින් කලයුතු දෙයක් නැද්ද ? ටමිල් නාඩුවේ දෙමලුයි  මැලීසියාවේ දෙමලුයි අපේ  භික්ෂුන් වහන්සේලාට ගහනකොට ලංකාවේ එක දෙමළෙක් විරොධ්යක් පලකලාද ? අපේ හිටපු ජනාධිපතිතුමාට විරෝධය දක්වා එතුමාට අගෞරව කලාට ලංකාවේ එක දෙමළෙක් විරෝධය පළකලාද ?

ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිදහස් පක්ෂයේ සංවත්සරයට උතුරෙන් හා  නැගෙනහිරෙන්  දෙමලු 2000ක්  ගේන්ට දෙමලසන්ධානය පොරොන්දුවෙලා කුරුණෑගල රණවිරු ස්මාරකය අහක්කරන්නයි කිවාම සීරිසෙන කටවහගෙන ස්මාරකය අයින්කරලා මිනිසුන්ට කීවා පාර ලොකුකරන්නයි  ස්මාරකය අයින්කලේ කියලා.

ඒ සංවත්සර උත්සවයෙදී  ජනාධිපති සිරිසේන මහා හයියෙන් කතාකරලා කිවා අපි නියම ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිදහස් පාක්ශිකයෝ අපි ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිදහස්පක්ෂයේ ආණ්ඩුවක් වහාම පිහිටුවනවා කියලා. ඒ කියන කතාව බොරුවක් නේ  බණ්ඩාරනායක මහත්මයා යුඇන්පියෙන් වෙන්වෙලා ගිහින් වෙනමපක්ෂයක් පිහිටෙව්වේ  ආයෙත් සැරයක්  යුඇන්පියට මුක්කුගහන්න නොවේ.  එතුමා පිහිටෙව්වේ ලංකාවේ එදා තිබුණු වාමාන්ෂික පක්ෂත් සමග කටයුතු කරන්න පුළුවන් සමාජවාදී පක්ෂයක්. ඉතින් කොහොමද මේ උන්නැහේලා කියන්නේ උන්නැහෙලයි  නියම ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිදහස් පාක්ශිකයෝ කියල.

අනිත් එක සිරිසේන ජනාධිපති  ඉක්මනින් ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිදහස්පක්ෂයේ ආණ්ඩුවක් හදනවා කිව්වට කොහොමද එහෙමදෙයක් කරන්නේ. යුඇන්පී එකත් එක්ක මෑතකදී කොන්ත්රාත්තුවක් අත්සන්කලා  යහපාලන සමගි ආණ්ඩුවක් 2020 වෙනකම් පවත්වාගේනයනවා කියලා. ඒක  මිනිස්සුන්ට අමතකවෙලා නැ. සිරිසෙන ජනාධිපති  ආයිත්සැරයක්  හදන්නේ  මිනිස්සු ගොන්නුන්ට අන්දවන්න.

සිරිසේන ජනාධිපති  තවත් දෙයක් මහා ආඩම්බරයකින් හඞනගලා කීවා. මට හුඟ දෙනෙක් ගහනවා

මම දුප්පත් පවූලකින් බිහිඋන නායකයෙක් මගේ පියා සොල්දාදුවෙක් රණවිරුවෙක් කියල. පියා සොල්ද්ක්දුවෙක් වෙන්න  පුළුවන් නමුත් රණවිරුවෙකුවෙන්න බැ. රණවිරුවෝ අපේ

 ජාතියවෙනුවෙන් අපේ රටවෙනුවෙන් ත්‍රශ්තවාදය පරද්දපු  සොල්දාදුවෝයි.  දෙවන ලෝක යුද්දයට ගිය සොල්දාදුවොයි  අපේ රණවිරුවනුයි අතර වෙනසක් තියෙනවා. 

සිරිසේන ජනාධිපති තවත් කීවා, මම මහපොලොවෙන් තනකොලයෙන් ආපු මිනිහෙක්  කියල. නමුත් මහපොලොවෙන් තනකොලයෙන් ආපු හුඟක් මිනිස්සු හොඳ නරක දන්නා, කෙලිහිගුන දන්නා, අතීතය අමතක නොකරන ,වෛර ක්‍රෝධ හිතේ ධාරනයකරගන්නේ නැති බෞද්ධයෝ.  ඒ ගණයට නම් සිරිසේන ජනාධිපති දාගන්න අමාරුයි.

ඒ දුගී මිනිහෙකුගේ පැවැත්ම තිබුනානම් සිරිසේන මැතිතුමාට හොඳ අවස්ථාවක් තිබුනා  එදා රාජපක්ස මැතිතුමා සිරිසේන ජනාධිපති තුමා මුණගැහෙන්න ඇවිත්  ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිදහස්පක්ෂයේ සභාපතිකම භාරදුන්නවෙලාවේ පසුගියාව අමතකකරලා සුහදව පිළිගෙන අපි යන ගමන පුළුවන්තරම් එකට යමු කියල අලුත් මිතුරු දහමකට මුලපිරුවානම්.  ඊට පස්සේ  රනිල් චන්ද්‍රිකාටත්  කියල රාජපක්ස හොරු කියන විලිලජ්ජා කතාව නතරකරල රටටත් ජාතියටත් ප්‍රයෝජනවත් නියම  යහපාලන පිළිවෙතක් ගෙනයන්න තිබුණා. නමුත් මේ රාජපක්ෂ වෛරය නිසා අද රට සම්පුර්ණයෙන්ම අගාදියට ගිහිල්ලයි තියෙන්නේ.

මේ අගාදියට යන ගමන නවත්තන්න ජේවීපී එකටවත් බැ. හොරු හොරු කියල රාජපක්ෂලා පන්නන්න හැදුවට නියම හොරු ඉන්නේ යහපාලනය ඇතුලේමයි. රනිල් එක්ක ඉන්න යාලුවෝ ගන්න. පස්කරලිංගම්, අර්ජුන් මහෙන්ද්‍රන්. මහෙන්ද්‍රන් රුපියල් බිලියන දෙකක හොරකම් කරල තියෙන එක වහන්න හදන්නේ රනිල් අග්‍රාමාත්‍යවරයා නේද ? මහෙන්ද්‍රන්  බැංකුවෙන් අස්කලාට එයාට අග්‍රමාත්‍යවරයාගේ උපදේසක තනතුරක් දිලතියෙනවා. මොකක්ද මේ රනිල් අග්‍රාමාත්‍යවරයාගේ සිංගප්පුරුවට තියෙන විශේෂ ඇල්ම ? එයා  නිතරම යන්නේ සිංගප්පුරුවට. මේක ටිකක් හොයලබලන්න වටින්නේ  නැද්ද ?

විශේෂයෙන්ම යෝශිත, නාමල්, බැසිල් වගේ අය අර්ජුන් මහෙන්ද්‍රන් වගේ හොර කමක්ද කරලතියෙන්නෙ ?  රාජපක්ශලා  අල්ලාගෙන කරන්නේ  මහා  විහුලුවක් නේද ,හෙනගහන තරම් අපරාදයක් නොවෙයිද ?  එෆ්සීඅයිඩි එක රනිල් ගේ බටලන්දේ පුරුද්දට හදපු ඔහුගේ පුද්ගලික පොලිසීයක් නොවෙයිද ? 

ඔය සිරිසේන ජනාධිපති එක්ක ඉන්න රජිත, ඇස්බි, කිරිඇල්ල සුදුපාට කොක්කුද ? අද පත්තරේ දැක්කා යහපාලන ඇමතියෙක් එයාගේ උපන්දින උත්සවයට රුපියල්  මිලියන 8ක් වියදම්කලා  කියල. කතාවනම් දෝලාවෙන් ගමනපයින්.

කොලඹ යුඇන්පී  මන්ත්‍රී මරික්කර් කට අරින්නේ මහින්ද රාජපක්ස මැතිතුමාටයි සන්ධානයේ මැතිවරුන්ටයි නින්දාසහගත ලෙස කතාකරන්නයිම් මුන් එක්ක සිංහලයොත් ඉන්නවා කියන ඒවා අනුමතකරන්න. මුන්ට සිංහලයෝ චන්දය දෙන්නත් හොඳනැ.  පුංචි උදව් බලාගෙන මුන්ට ආවඩන එක  සිංහලකමට වටින්නේ නැ. අසාද් ආලි කියන මිනිහත් මරික්කාර් වගේමයි.

උතුර දැනටමත් දෙමළුන්ට දීලා සංහිඳීයාව වෙනුවෙන්. විග්නේශ්වරන් කතාකරන්නේ තමිල්නාඩුවේ ජයලලිතා , වෛකො වාගේ. අතුරුදහන්වුවන් පිලිබඳ කාර්යාලයක්  හිටවන්නට  ගත් තින්දුවට විරුද්ධවන්නට තරම් ධෛර්යයක් සිරිසෙන ජනාපතිට තිබුනේ නැ. ඒක මංගල සමරවීරටයි රනිල්ටයි ඔනවිධියට කෙරුණා.  එක්ටා ගිවිසුමටයි  තමිල්නාදුවයි  ලංකාවයි අතර පාලමත් රනිල්ට ඕනෑවිධියටම සිදුවෙයි. උනාට පස්සේ තමයි මෛත්‍රිපාල සිරිසේන අවදිවන්නේ. ලංකාවට ආදරයක් තියෙනවානම් සිරිසේන ජනාධිපති මත්තයෝ  අලුතෙන් ලියන්න යන ලංකාවේ ව්‍යවස්තාව ලියන්න ඉඩ දෙන්න එපා. 1978 ව්‍යවස්ථාවම සන්ෂෝධන වලින් වෙනස්කරමින් පවත්වාගෙන යා හැකයි. ඒකවත්කලොත්  ලංකාව දෙකඩවීම වත් නතරකරගන්න  පුලුවන්වේවී.

නැත්නම් ලංකාව විනාශයටපත්වුයේ  මහපොලොවෙන් තනකොලෙන්  ආ මිනිහෙකු රටෙනායකත්වයට ආ නිසායයි පවසන්නට ඉඩතිබේ.  සිරිසේන රනිල් චන්ද්‍රිකා කල්ලියට යහපාලනයෙන් ටිකක් හෝ යහපතක් කලහැක්කේ කරපින්නාගෙන සිටින  පලිගැනීමයි, ක්‍රෝධයයි, වයිරයයි, ඊර්ෂියාවයි අත්හැරියොත්  විතරයි. නැත්නම් මුන් ඔක්කම විනාශයට පත්වීමෙන් වලකාගත නොහැකියි.   

OMP Bill-duly passed and legally valid says the Speaker

OMP Bill is a reactionary piece of legislation that should not get into the legal system of Sri Lanka. OMP,  without getting into a legal and intellectual analysis could be stated as a dangerously bad  Bill as much as the  bad 13 Amendment or even worse. It is bad from the mere fact it comes from Prince Ra’ad Zeid Al_Hussain’s report adopted and included by the USA in its resolution against Sri Lanka at the UN HR Council in Geneva.

One cannot imagine how any intelligent man who has an iota of love to Sri Lanka, resurrected from the grip of  a tenacious ruthless terrorism after thirty years of suffering, would sponsor along with USA,  the most vicious resolution  like of which  no one had passed against any other country which had perpetrated most intolerable crimes against humanity.

We as Sri Lankans for generations will never  pardon the traitors Mangala Samaraweera and Ranil Wickramasinghe for making it possible to have allowed USA to get the UNHR Council in Geneva adopt such a devastating resolution against Sri Lanka which carried out a difficult war against all odds to eliminate terrorism and bring back peace and security to Sri Lanka.

It was the Armed Forces of Sri Lanka, without fearing the risks they were taking, that saved Sri Lanka their motherland from terrorism, for which heroism the Maithripala Sirisena- Ranil Wickramasinghe duo has allowed the USA prompted by the Tamil Diaspora to take our Armed Forces  before a tribunal and meet out punishments by enacting the OMP Bill in the Parliament.   

They have trapped the personnel of the Armed forces by cutting all routs of escape as they could be arrested in any country outside Sri Lanka even if they are in those countries on a  visit officially or as tourists. But what are the offences that our soldiers have committed that deserve such intolerable treatment in the hands of foreign governments. Our Armed Forces  have committed no offence against their motherland Sri Lanka in eliminating terrorism. They had done their duty as soldiers in any armed force of any country would do to defend their country against its enemies.

Why has the USA and the UN Human Rights Council selected the Armed Forces of our country for punishment where as countries which really committed and commit criminal offences against civilians in other countries are left out ? It is  the Commissioner of the UN Human rights Commission that should be brought before a tribunal to answer why  he should not be punished for allowing USA and the UN bring a resolution incriminate the Armed forces of Sri Lanka which carried out an armed offensive against  a ruthless group of terrorists to eliminate them, in carrying out their duty of protecting their country and its people.

Some try to minimise the effect of the Bill for the setting up of an Office for Missing Persons in Sri Lanka.

Strangely the persons who are actively participating in encouraging  and writing hosannas  about the OMP Bill are Tamils.  The  well known anti Sinhala Tamil NGO Pakiasothy Saranawanamuttu the Executive Director of the  Centre for Policy Alternative  writes a guide to the  draft legislation for the establishment of the OMP.

The Bill as presented as a brief guide,  seems simple and innocent.  But even so if read carefully it shows where dangers  lie. However, the OMP Bill has been signed by the  Speaker of the House  Karu Jayasuriya making  the infamous bill to punish the personnel of our Armed Forces, law of the land.

On the face of it, without going into details,  it appears that the Yahapalanaya cronies with the bill on the OMP have opened a pandora’s box, because the Brief Guide on the Draft Legislation to the Establishment of the OMP begins by stating , “In 2015, the United Nations Human Rights Council adopted the consensus Resolution tilted ‘Promoting Reconciliation, Accountability and Human Rights in Sri Lanka’ which provided a framework for transitional justice in Sri Lanka, including the establishment of four specific mechanisms. The Office on Missing Persons (OMP) is to be the first.”

That means that there are more mechanisms envisaged,  which depend on the initial Bill on the project is accepted by the Parliament of Sri Lanka,  for other bills to be presented in the Parliament on the same issue..

In reality this resolution has no right to have been passed at the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, let alone presenting it to be passed in the Parliament of Sri Lanka.  It happened because of the two cronies of the Yahapalanaya Government Ranil Wickramasinghe and Mangala Samaraweera.  They are really foolish men who  are gleeful, happy and acclaim victory for themselves for having been able to pass a bill which is virtually to hang the war heroes and open the doors for other nefarious interventions by the USA and the West. 

The President of Sri Lanka who talks like a thug rather than an intelligent national leader seems to have no idea what Sri Lanka is in for with his “executive” Prime Minister taking the upper hand in the Administration of the country. We knew that appointing Ranil Wickramasinghe as the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka portend danger and ill luck to Sri Lanka and its people.

We cannot understand why some say that the Prime Minister is a clean man, when all know that his hands are bloody with the tortures he inflicted on the Sinhala Buddhist youth in Batalanda and other torture camps he had set up, and he has also swindled the country having appointed Arjun Mahendran as the Governor of the Central Bank.

The FCID has not still investigated into what happened to the Billions of Rupees  involved in the Central Bank Bond Scam.  Where did that money go ? Who benefitted from it ? Was any part of that  defrauded money go  to Sirikotha ? Even the President want initiate action for an investigation as he is Prime Minister’s buddy. The President probably knows where that money went, but he is also a clean man !!

People have experience with Ranil Wickramasinghe who thinks that  any thing coming from the West are worthy of acceptance. The CFA prepared by Eric Solheim of Norway which he signed along with Prabhakaran is one such foolish act that cost the lives of thousands of soldiers and innocent people of all Communities, and lost a great foreign Minister the Late Laxman Kadigamar. It was thanks to a great man like Mahinda Rajapakse to have removed that disgusting  agreement, the hated CFA.

Sri Lanka has to be more careful in accepting proposals presented by the USA , the West and India. Because USA , the Western countries, or India do not want Sri Lanka develop as an independent Sovereign State. They want Sri Lanka  to be one of their subject states, as they do not admit  that Sri Lanka has intelligent men and women , who can administer the country,  or judges  intelligent and competent  enough to run an acceptable judicial system.

If the UNP had intelligent and competent people with foresight as Ministers, MPs, and Political advisors, they would not have introduced into our Constitution and legal System, the 13 Amendement or now the Bill for BMP.  There are worst things to follow-the ETCA, Bridge Connecting Tamil Nadu Sri Lanka, building a Sita Temple at Divurumpola in Sri Lanka by India for which Sri Lanka Government has already given its approval, leasing the oil Tanks in Trincomalee to India, giving six acres of prime land in Colombo to USA to put up buildings probably for a military base to collect intelligence covering China, Russia and other countries in the neighbourhood, and to lease the Tricomalee Port to USA.

These matters should be openly discussed in the Civil Society, before they are even placed before the Parliament where it should again be discussed before it becomes law. Though some Sri Lankans, institutions and  the media  are very critical of the former President Mahinda Rajapakse and give credit to him only for the elimination of terrorism,  as Mahinda Rajapakse  has done nothing else which had been beneficial to Sri Lanka.

These proposals made by foreign countries may look inoffensive, and the apparent dangers could be explained as nothing to be concerned,  but it is only when they are  being implemented that the complexities, surprises and dangers become evident, as it was with the CFA and the 13Amendment. It would then  be too late to change.

The Sunday 20^th August Editorial of the Island states, “…..Mahinda Rajapaksa promised the masses a bright future of suba anagathayak. He, to his credit, eliminated terrorism, but his second term turned out to be a disaster. It was characterised by corruption, nepotism, abuse of power, violent suppression of political dissent and near lawlessness. Maithripala Sirisena vowed to make a difference and usher in yahapalanaya or good governance……..”.  

But if looked objectively ex-President Mahinda Rajapakse  had not committed any of those enumerated “ offences”.  It appears that those accusations are  made in order not to earn the disapproval of the government in power. 

These media which writes to please those in power , rather than fearlessly write  for the  benefit of the country, do not give credit to the former President for his most able and commendable service to Sri Lanka protecting it from the unfriendly foreign Countries.  Sri Lanka was protected and secured under the former President Mahinda Rajapakse.

It is  very good to have very cordial relations with all countries,  but not if it results in them trying to dictate terms,  pontificate on actions being taken, give unasked for advice on how to run the country, interfere with the internal affaires of the country  putting one community against the other and causing utter confusion and political disaster.  Mahinda Rajapakse knew this and he managed to keep them away from causing mischief in Sri Lanka.

Today Sri Lanka is quite different from what it was before the 8^th January, 2015. The Present government has only shown its incompetence to rule Sri Lanka as an Independent Sovereign State. The new friends of the Yahapalanaya Governmenrt the USA and the West have made inroads into Sri Lanka Government’s internal affairs, by offering  to re-organise the Armed Forces, participate actively in the process of reconciliation, attending to the political affairs of  the North trying to separate the North from the rest of Sri Lanka, and even  participating in the writing of the  Constitution for Sri Lanka.

All the proposals the USA and the West and India make should be carefully evaluated before they are even presented to the Parliament. The Constitution of Sri Lanka is an important document that should be honoured and respected without desecrating it by introducing into it any legislation proposed by  any foreign government.

But the Sirisena and Ranil Wickramasinghe are not respectful of the countriy’s Constitution. They had  acted in breach of the Constitution of Sri Lanka from the day Maithripala Sirisena was elected President of Sri Lanka.

Today the 21^st August, 2016, it has been announced that the offensive Bill  introducing OMP has become law. If the Speaker was independent he may have allowed further time to discuss the bill in the Parliament by bending the rules in favour of the opposition , but as he  seems to be under Prime Minister’s control he has become automatized to sign on orders.

The danger that Sri Lanka runs in passing this Bill on OMP has already been written by many learned persons, and heard discussions on it in TV, therefore, it is now for us to wait and see how the country with this impossible government would face the challenges.
